Nationwide Remortgage - very poor
I dealt with Enact during a remortgage application with Nationwide. I found their administration and customer service to be extremely poor. They contacted me mainly by a chat function within an online portal and the quality of the interactions was awful. They were slow to respond, they asked me multiple times for my marriage certificate, giving me different email addresses to send it to, telling me I’d given them the wrong account information for my other mortgage which was provably untrue, using this piece of information to blame me as to why they couldn’t request my redemption certificate when I’d already been told on the phone that they had it! I eventually cancelled the remortgage because I couldn’t deal with these clowns any more. Fast forward approximately 6 weeks after cancellation and Nationwide are chasing me up about the remortgage because Enact didn’t even bother to tell them that I’d cancelled! Unbelievably bad.
