It was a pleasure to experience new cultures through an educational lens. Learning about different languages, customs, and histories from the perspective of knowledgeable tour guides was enlightening, and I'll surely remember the trip for the rest of my life. Overall I'd say it was enjoyable, though there were some aspects of it that I wish were different. I often found that our days were full of activities, and we seldom stayed in one place long enough to fully imerse ourselves in the learning experience. While I understand the purposes behind us doing many things in the short amount of time allotted, it inevitably detracted from the learning experience. Me and others wished we had more time at museums to really soak up the information, and more time to explore local areas and engage with the culture. After a few days of going from place to place to place, many of us were quite fatigued. It would have been nice to have a day every few days with a more relaxed schedule or free time so we could have rested while on the trip. There was one day while in Korea where we spent a lot of the day walking outside, and with humidity it was upwards of 90°F, but water wasn't very accessible. I quickly drank all the water I had carried with me, but I wasn't able to get access to more water for at least an hour and a half after I'd run out. Some of us (myself included) ended up getting dehydrated, and it would've been beneficial to have better access to water on days like that.
