Disappointed
Disappointed. My kid’s flight was delayed then canceled. Didn’t get a hotel until more than 7 hours after original flight time. The next day, his group was split in 2 and there was a problem with his rescheduled flight. His group left him ALONE at JFK. The chaperone texted me that she was on her way to the airport and to call the EF number. The first agent was very hands off. She gave me the confirmation number from the original flight and tried to hang up. I requested to speak with another agent. That agent was more courteous, but still unhelpful. She told me that they would get my kid on his flight even though it would leave in 7 minutes, he didn’t have a ticket, and hadn’t gone through security. The second group was scheduled to leave in 3-1/2hrs and I didn’t want my kid left by himself. After a couple hours he was booked on a solo flight. I am disappointed that EF Tours makes you believe you are in good hands if you buy the insurance and call their number. They are hands off, and you have to figure it out yourself.
