I saw the good reviews on Doctor Alexa so I hurried over to the website and paid for my consultation with high expectations. My consultation started for a painful sinus infection that deprived me of sleep and normal everyday function. The dr requested a picture of my tonsils not understanding that my lymph nodes were swollen on the left side of my neck because of the infection. They interpreted it as me having a sore throat. I sent the picture in and received no response. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I went over to the site and requested a refund. I received a call 12 hours later from one of the Doctors at Dr Alexa but I had already been treated by another online Doctor. By the time Dr Alexa’s office called me, I was literally taking my antibiotic treatment from the other site Doctors. They should be a bit more caring over at Doctor Alexa

Chat didn't work, and no one picked up. Transaction was not processed today and they are apparently open. Went with GoodMD for fast relief. Unreliable.

The online experience was good and the process was simple. Unfortunately, my pharmacy would not process the prescription because the prescriber was not licensed in California.

I filled out the form 3 times and finally got the payment screen. However it didn't take payment information, but stored all my information. The request sat in pending for 24 hours. No response. I opened the chat with Sarah and asked her to check it out. I was told to start over. After 3 failures, I assume the 4th would fail again. When I asked for how to deleted my account she stopped responding in the chat. I'm using the Brave browser, so my issues may be related to the browser. However requiring me to start over just for payment seems ridiculous. Ignoring the chat and not having a way to delete my account is total failure. After stating I was leaving a 1-star review. Chat responded and said my information was not saved. Even though I could log in and see my profile (personal information and receipt for my request for service). Obviously my account has been saved. Requested how long my account was going to be up even though it wasn't "saved" -- no response again.

I came down with what I assume to be strep throat. I didn't have a PCP at the time and my local Urgent Care refused to prescribe me anything without lab results. I was in so much pain that I refused to wait that long and gave Dr. Alexa a try, seeing the good reviews. It works just as others have said: after a small consultation, if you're approved, your local pharmacy will have your order within hours. You can choose which one they contact. I put mine in at 2AM and it was ready by morning. The service was $40 plus $6 for my ammoxicillan, so I paid less than $50. I felt leagues better within 2 days. There's no proof of insurance required, only identity. I did my whole consultation through my computer with no voice calls necessary. Their website is very easy to navigate and understand. DA offers mental and sexual health solutions too, and if they don't believe they can treat you best, they'll refund your money. They also have a disclaimer that if the medicine they prescribe is too expensive, you can ask for a more generic brand. They do everything possible to help! Definitely recommending this service to everyone I know. It can save you so much time & money, and spare you a lot of pain. A blessing for those without insurance, those unable to make immediate doctor visits, people who come down with conditions while traveling, etc. So very thankful I discovered this service.

I was nervous about trying this site after reading the few negative reviews, but my experience was just like the 5 star experiences. I filled out the questionnaire (for tooth pain) and paid the consultation fee. The website has an easy-to-use portal where you can track the status of your request. I received a response in less than an hour stating a prescription had been called into my pharmacy. It's important to keep in mind that antibiotics may only be a temporary relief until you can visit a doctor or dentist who can actually address the cause of the infection. The website states this over and over. They also explain that the cost of the meds will be extra and will be priced by the pharmacy you choose. Fast service and no surprises. Doctor Alexa is legit.

Absolutely wonderful. I had an infected tooth and I was in unbearable pain. I knew I needed antibiotics and I found Dr Alexa from a google search. I paid $40 and had 3 scripts sent to my local pharmacy within 2 hours. It was a little more compared to going to Urgent care but the convenience is 10000% worth it.

Had a tooth infection. I was able to enter in my symptoms easily and medication was prescribed that day. Was very easy to pick up the prescription and my infection went away!!
