Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Don't trust Kia dealers.

Went to my local Kia dealer for a service, never used them before. On collection car was pulling to one side. Took it back and was told they checked the tracking again and now OK. The tyres had a pressure of 40psi, and yes it still pulled to one side which I had paid £56 for. There was nothing wrong with my tracking before the service. Went to a good tyre dealer who showed me on the electronic machine it was well out. The story is they messed my car up and I got a refund. Will never go back to them again.

36000mile/2years service service plan

Brought kia Soul from new and service plan. Took car in for its 3rd schedule service and 1st mot. Found out that none of the engine oil and filters have been changed. Wife was told that service only involved in checking. Service plan is not worth the cost I paid.

Service

Took my Carin for a service the other day (the 2nd of three pre-paid). They phoned me up to inform me that it needed disks and pads - front and rear and wipers all round. A nice little sum of £476. I told them to leave it and took it to a local garage who without looking at it said it would only be £240 of it did indeed need new disks and pads and wipers...turns out after inspection it doesn't need disks at all. Only pads and rear wiper! Be careful, do some research and don't just accept what they tell you because they have your car

Don't buy Kia after 3 months Kia has still failed to…

After 3 months Kia has still failed to deliver a spare wheel and three additional accessories for my partner's new car. No communication, no update and when I am forced to phone up and chase the delays I am told the European supply chain has problems supplying spare parts to the UK. Shambolic supply chain and total lack of communication. Don't buy from Kia.

Hidden expensive/useless insurance costs

I have bought several new KIA Sportage' from KIA Doncaster, all of which are serviced at the same location. Infact we are now a family of 4 Kia car owners. The last purchase included body and wheel insurance for what transpired to be a hidden, but combined price of £1,598. DON'T have it and DON'T let them include it. Trust me, it isn't worth the money. I have had a claim rejected that I could have put right 5 times for the money this superfluous insurance cost! BEWARE!!!! Will seriously impact on my future purchase decisions!

Kia Brunei Service Centre

Bought a 2018/19 Stinger GT. Had 1k and 10k services done as per warranty contract. When my car hit 13000km I noticed the threads were starting to show on edge of my tyre, both sides same? Now I used to be mechanically minded and practical but now I leave it up to the dealer. I took the car in and complained that alignment was off (excessive toe in). They checked it, agreed and corrected it FOC? Appointment was 9am, waited till 11am to be told it wouldn't be done till 4pm (2 hours wasted). Asked if I could return later. Luckily they lent me one of their staff's personal cars. Now who pays for the damaged tyre 1300km (8300miles ish) and destroyed? Naturally they blame me saying they do all necessary checks and that I should have complained about it at 10k service. How do you complain about an issue you don't know about, I don't know? I asked them to source the front tyres as I was having issues finding any. They come back with they've found same tyres but I would have to buy full set (4 tyres)? Never had this in 30 years of driving and told them that's stupid. Tyres are different front to back and surely that's 2 half sets lol. I decided to double check my service receipts to see what they found or did any alignment checks. HEY PRESTO my tyres are destroyed because Kia service centre never bothered to check my tyre depths. Ticked the box but didn't bother to fill in the actual depths as indicated on their own worksheet. If they had bothered they would have spotted at 10k, advised me, alignment would have been done and I would've bought 2 new tyres. Now I'm attempting to get them to pay for 2 if not all 4 for being negligent and deceiving me. DONT TRUST YOUR KIA SERVICE CENTRE AND ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THE WORK CARRIED OUT. I was sent away on tyres that were illegal and dangerous to me and other road users. ***END RESULT*** TOOK A WEEK BUT BOTH FRONT TYRES REPLACED F.O.C.
