Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Excellent Customer Service

I have been to Kia in Stevenage a two times now and i have to say there is a very highly dedicated team who go over and above the call of duty to assist customers. To my mind, customer service is everything.

KIA Rubbish

Just reading through these reviews & I must agree with all of the negative reviews.. If i'd have seen these before I bought my Carens , i'd have stayed with Vauxhall. Car bought as a KIA Assured vehicle march 2018 & the 7 year warranty supplied now turns out to be worthless. Alloys are corroding & believe it or not there is rust coming through the paintwork on the roof.. Have had it inspected (if you can call it that ) by a KIa dealership & apparently wheels corroding from the inside out is due to gravel , think not. The roof is also apparently due to stone chip in one place which voids warranty on whole roof (no it's not). Took car to an independant bodyshop & they have confirmed that none of the faults are stonechip damage , but down to poor quality metal preperation on the roof panel before car was painted. KIa have refused to correct these issues, so now i'll have to have the roof repainted at my own cost, it's going to be expensive.. Dealer even said paint coming off wheels because i'd had the tyres changed.. they obviously seem to be protecting KIA , as when I pointed out the tyres are still the origional factory fitted tyres ... they then went quite & told me to phone KIA... So a 2016 KIA Carens with 20700 miles on the clock needs new alloys and the roof stripped down to bare metal before repaint to correct rust issue. SO you think your buying a value for money KIA ASSURED vehicle for £17000 .. wished i'd have bought through Hire purchase now .. Ah well hindsight as they say ... Now going to fix it at my own cost & trade it in for a vauxhall.

Brilliant assistance and so efficient!!

I was driving my Kia en route to an important meeting (70 miles away)and time critical that I got there on time when a warning came up saying my key wasn't in the car. I guessed the battery was about to die in it. I was approaching Peterborough, Cambs and so googled the local Kia dealership and spoke to a young lady and explained the situation. I told her I was 7 mins away (good old sat nav!!). When I arrived there was a service chap waiting for me at reception with a battery and it took 5 mins to replace the battery in the key and I was on my way again. It might seem nothing but it gave me peace of mind that it was ok again and the service and friendliness I received was 100%. Thank you. You were fab!!! ( I was also on time for my appointment thanks to you. x

Beware if you are having your car services

Beware if you are having your car serviced Beware if you are having your car serviced at Bells motorgroup Kia of Brdford I own a Picanto. I would normally book through their WEB page but because of their long delay due to the virus I telephoned the service desk for a suitable date. I discovered to my horror that booking direct via their office the price was £185.00 if I had booked the service via the WEB the price was £119.00 a difference of £66.00. Unfortunate if you cannot use the internet or not aware of this poor practice you get charged the higher price without warning. I always had high praise of this company until now. Is this Kia's or is this a policy of all dealerships or just the dealership in Bedford? I wonder if anyone has taken this matter to the BBC Rip off Britain programme?

Poor

My 4th and last new car from Kia. It’s been sitting in service centre after only 7 k miles waiting for missing parts to come from Korea or some other far away place. When will they come..who knows..why did I spend almost £45 k on a car I need to be reliable and then need to pay for taxis during a pandemic? Why did I have to argue hard with very poor customer services to get a courtesy car next week ( none available this weekend) I do not recommend anyone buy a Kia as they are poorly built in my opinion and after sales service is the worst I have ever experienced. When I get the car back I will trade it in for something reliable.

Do not take Kia service plan if you…

Do not take Kia service plan if you not planing on having your car for full 3 years. When I took a plan two years ago I was told if I to sell my car earlier then 3 years I’ll get refund on the third service.. Two years later I traded my Kia for a new one and again I was told that service plan is not transferable but I’ll get refund for the last service . When I called Kia service plan they didn’t wanna know! So... who ever buys my old car gets a free service!

I don't know where all these reviewers…

I don't know where all these reviewers go for service and repair but i cannot heap enough praise on Premier Kia in Dukinfield Cheshire. From the admin staff to the engineers cant fault them at all. Any problems i have experienced (not many) have been dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Kia. They're Cheap For A Reason..

My wife bought a Kia Picanto SR7 from a dealer when the car was just 18 months old. A few months later the main bearing in the gearbox failed & it had to be repaired. Kia would not honour the warranty because they claimed that it did not have an original parts oil filter fitted. The dealer was very good & repaired the car. At 3 years old, rust started to come through the wheel arch. Again Kia would not honour the warranty. Thankfully, the dealer bought the car back. In summary, these cars are cheap for a reason. They are made out of thin steel & cheap plastics in a country where labour is cheap. They are poorly built & poorly finished. Kia make their money by charging extortionate prices for servicing & spares. £80 a gallon for oil! The cost of servicing & inspections by a Kia garage makes the warranty worthless. You will pay far more in servicing costs & garage fees than the car is worth over 7 years. There is a saying: 'Buy Cheap, Buy Twice' which should be Kia's marketing slogan. Don't buy a Kia, you will regret it & it will lose most of its value as soon as you drive off the forecourt..
