KIA Rubbish
Just reading through these reviews & I must agree with all of the negative reviews.. If i'd have seen these before I bought my Carens , i'd have stayed with Vauxhall. Car bought as a KIA Assured vehicle march 2018 & the 7 year warranty supplied now turns out to be worthless. Alloys are corroding & believe it or not there is rust coming through the paintwork on the roof.. Have had it inspected (if you can call it that ) by a KIa dealership & apparently wheels corroding from the inside out is due to gravel , think not. The roof is also apparently due to stone chip in one place which voids warranty on whole roof (no it's not). Took car to an independant bodyshop & they have confirmed that none of the faults are stonechip damage , but down to poor quality metal preperation on the roof panel before car was painted. KIa have refused to correct these issues, so now i'll have to have the roof repainted at my own cost, it's going to be expensive.. Dealer even said paint coming off wheels because i'd had the tyres changed.. they obviously seem to be protecting KIA , as when I pointed out the tyres are still the origional factory fitted tyres ... they then went quite & told me to phone KIA... So a 2016 KIA Carens with 20700 miles on the clock needs new alloys and the roof stripped down to bare metal before repaint to correct rust issue. SO you think your buying a value for money KIA ASSURED vehicle for £17000 .. wished i'd have bought through Hire purchase now .. Ah well hindsight as they say ... Now going to fix it at my own cost & trade it in for a vauxhall.
