Review summary
KIA has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one
DM Kieth Kia Leeds.
Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car.
Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car.
He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past.
Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out.
The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward .
I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.
I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down .
I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk .
After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie !
He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional.
Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done .
Well done Bobbie. And thank you !
Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.
Today I visited Milton Green Garage

United Kingdom. I tried to talk with the sale rep regarding a Sportage GT but wasn't interested, I asked about wait times and he just shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes. I asked the price and he just said it's our top of the range and carried on looking at his desk. Pretty poor. I have now decided to purchase a Ford Kuga St. The customer service was outstanding and they where very happy to answer all my questions.
Coventry KIA horrible 'sales' person called andrew - incompetent, angry, rude, unprofessional, CLUE LESS, needs to improve conducts try and learn some manners chubby loser
Absolutely fantastic service received from Callum at Stockton Kia. From the beginning to the end of my new car purchase, he went above and beyond to help me. Cannot praise him enough and will be recommending him to friends and family!!
Just picked up my motor from here after a 50,000 service... Which included nothing being changed. Not even oil and oil filter as a bare minimum, that I thought I was getting (where anywhere else other than Kia is an absolute bare minimum to be called a service) This cost £65. Dropped off at 9am, called at 3.30ish pm told it was just being done. Picked up at 5.20ish pm when it was done.
Noted on the inspection sheet "Topped up 1L of oil"... Where can I ask this was put in? Indicator before I dropped off was at top dot on dipstick... First thing I did when picked up was check the oil, no change still black still top dot on dipstick?
What I've paid for is for it to sit in ther carpark for 7 hours, get inspected for 30 minutes and have a wash. I had just washed it myself before I dropped it off too, it was still wet 😕🤣. I washed all the suds off the car atleast. Still has bubbles over mirrors.
Could've literally had it picked up given a full service (+oil+filter) and dropped back off for £78 with another firm (Servicing Stop) that's Vat registered and would've kept the warranty too. I've basically just paid for a Kia stamp in the service book and a nice service by reception staff.
So after all that, I'll be under my motor tomorrow giving it an oil and filter change, along with air and pollen filter that I had planned. Which I was wishing to avoid due to time of year.
Lesson Learned. Safe to say won't be back to dealership, prob wont have another Kia neither if its lining pockets like that. £65 for an inspection to tell me things I already know about my own motor that I never asked for, I paid for a mechanical service and never got it, can only justify it with a 1/5 star review.
Edit: left a few hours cold to see if oil level would go up... It has by 1cm above the full dot so they've over filled it as it was at full before I gave them it. See image.
Also noted on inspection sheet keep an eye on power steering fluid. Power steering fluid is non existent...it's an Electric power steering Unit !?!?!🙃
Wouldn't happen to be anything to do with power steering fluid bottle in the boot thats got 2 stroke oil in it? So was a proper inspection (Kia's service) carried out or just visual guessing?
I bought an electric car Kia E-niro +2 64kw for a private hire use in the end of October 2021 ,Just in 3 months the battery has been failed and i have told by the kia dealer to wait for a long time to repair it. Its a very disappointing a new car price £32000 to happen this, as a result i stop from work and facing a lot of bills including the car finance. I am advising you to avoid buying a kia .
We recently purchased a Kia Sportage on the Motability Scheme. We had previously bought Skoda but decided on a change. We have been so pleased with the model. The team at the dealership have been first-rate - particularly Peter who is always busy but always keen to help and very professional and patient. When you go to the dealership it does not matter which member of staff you speak to they are all professional, efficient and courteous. I highly recommend the dealership and the car.
Amazing experience from Kia of Dicksons in Inverness. My car brakes failed on a Sunday afternoon two days before my son had his driving test. We thought my son was doomed and that we would have to cancel his test but Kia of Dicksons in Inverness phoned me first thing on Monday morning before they even opened to tell me that the car was in the workshop and that they would have it fixed by that lunchtime. Not only were they true to their word, they left a good luck present in the car for my son. The next day, my son passed his test! I can't thank Kia of Dicksons in Inverness enough, especially Alison, the service advisor who picked up my initial frantic Sunday evening email and kept me informed every step of the way.
Wonderful service from Piccadilly kia in Wakefield. Steph Palmer made everything run smoothly. Car was on time and she went out her her way to ensure I knew how the new car worked. She kept me up dated on the progress of the order and ensured that I felt all was handled professionally.
Great all round experience dealing with Mark Ellis at Chesterfield branch. As easy a car purchase as i could imagine (mind you i had my heart set on the new EV6 so i didn't need any convincing!). Despite hearing of widespread issues with deliveries of this car, mine arrived on time and in a perfect state. A pleasure to drive. Thanks
DO NOT BUY A KIA. Please save yourself the money. As soon as they have your money the lies starts. I was promised so much and got nothing.
I have since had issues with the alarm going off at all times of the day, but especially through the night and Kia have no answer.
Terrible product.
