I have been renting from Darwin for several years now. I started renting from them as a young student, and I can honestly say they have been great. Renting from them as a young person, I can say there were a lot of things I was not aware of, such as the deposit scheme. However, their friendly approach made everything smooth. The team is a lovely. I personally highly recommend them.
My Steven and I used Darwin Homes Property Management to find a new tenant for a 1 bedroom flat. They dealt with this in a very friendly and professional manner. They found an ideal couple, who have now extended the original tenancies for a further 12 month period. We would highly recommend them and will continue to use their service in the future.
Terrible company. Rochelle is the worst. Talk about a slumlord. My girlfriend's house had mold for months on the a/c conditioner, not once was it addressed despite multiple times reaching out and showing pictures. On top of that, the second bathroom broke in the house, said they would send someone out on 1/2/2025 to fix it, no one showed up, nor did they follow up. Toilet is still broke. Such a hassle getting them to respond to emails, if you call them the only thing you get is a helpline with people trained to say "I'm sorry." However on the first of the month if you have had any issue paying your rent, you hear from them real quick. They refuse to honor the prior lease agreement my girlfriend and her roommates had before Darwin bought out that company, and are screwing them over in the process. Steer clear from them. Rochelle needs to be fired, you heard it here first.
I stayed in an apartment maintained by Darwin Homes Property Management and they have been absolutely fantastic. We never had any complaints throughout our stay here. I have heard my friends facing challenges with agencies during tenancy and checkout, but DHPM is very, different. I would highly recommend using them.
After quite a few negative experiences with other property companies and landlords, I can say, that DHPM is an exception in that area. The quality of the house was tip top maintained and felt at home immediately from the beginning. Also, they offer the right value for the money. The other tenants in the house were very pleasant as well as living together. Thanks so much!
A huge disregard for the customer, I've been having a lot of headaches, I send an email, but they don't respond with the solution. I rented a house with a pool, I pay the guy to clean it but he only goes on the day he wants. It doesn't meet the date of the week outside which is very expensive. the pool has a leak. But they don't send a professional to fix it. When I entered the house, the front was full of bushes. the pool very dirty. I didn't want to leave this complaint to you anymore. He doesn't listen to his paying customers and he's right

We have worked along side Darwin Homes Property Management for some time no and as a drainage contractor I can say that it is truly amazing to work along side such an amazing team of professional staff, they all are extremely helpful and friendly. We hear nothing but good things from the residents about them as well. I would personally recommend this company.
Their repair takes forever you are better off repairing the problem yourself but they will not pay you.
You cannot walk through at move out. They will only do the walk through with you present and try to charge enough to keep your deposited have you pay an additional amount to cover all their maintenance cost.
Take pictures when you move in and when you move out. You will need them to defend yourself from the over charge.
NIGHTMARE!! We have mold in our kitchen (due to them not installing our fridge properly) and they've known about it for months without fixing it. We also have now gone two weeks without hot water. Their behavior is illegal, fraudulent, and unacceptable. Absolute worst management company I've ever worked with.
Horrible company to deal with. This company recently bought out my old leasing company and decided to end my lease, leaving me to find somewhere else to live. But now it has been 4 months and I'm still battling getting my deposit back, and like 90% of Americans I could really use that for bills. All I get from this company are emails telling me my money is coming (apparently so is Jesus). And if you try to call and talk to someone, get ready to be transferred to a 3rd party member from India.
We vacated our home at the end of August and STILL have not recieved our deposit back even after over 35 emails to the rental company.
They originally told us they sent the check to a different address ( one we NEVER provided) and we made sure to give them the correct address. They keep telling us the check has been sent but it's been almost four months and NOTHING has been sent. We've gotten the run around from property managers,customer service agents, and even higher ups. We also feel like at this point it's in our best interest to seek a lawyer, as this point they're withholding almost 2200 dollars from us. We don't seem to be the first people dealing with this and at this point I feel like they bank on people forgetting that they're supposed to recieve it.
Absolutely horrible experience with the application process. After ten days of them demanding additional paperwork on my end (which I provided immediately) they informed me today that someone else who applied before me (apparently 10+ days ago) was approved for the home instead of me. They scammed myself and my two sons out of the $55 application fee and now have possession of sensitive documents of ours. And to top it off, the ad for the house we applied for is STILL showing as active on Zillow this very moment, which indicates that they are continuing to scam others. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!
I can’t speak for anyone else experience. However the rental process with Ms.Amy Ferolie has been the absolute best! It’s like I never met her in person but can feel she’s very passionate about her line of work!
She took time and explained the process and even went over and beyond to advocate for me when it came to me getting some rental assistance. I was affected by Hurricane Helene and just when I wanted to give up I stumbled upon my new home and I’m so happy I did.
