Horrible experience i would say worst…

Horrible experience i would say worst experience ever. Promised repairs were not done before move in day. Maintenance came today said he was going get parts that was 2 hours ago however he never came back. This house has so much wrong with it. I swear you live and learn. When I talk to Darwin staff they ask for the same stuff over an over that I already sent multiple times. An it is so hard to get a live person. Thank God this lease is only one year. I will run out of here when lease is up.

Very unresponsive

Very unresponsive, I did get one brief txt in response to a question, but no reponse to my follow up question or to the multiple voicemails left by myself and my agent. The portal seems to have problems too. I cannot access the lease document pdf via the link sent to me, nor can I change my password because it never sends the reset link (it is not in junk).

Make ready fail

Make ready fail. No hot water and stove inop. Have had possession of property for 10 days and still waiting for issues to be resolved. I hope this isn’t an indication of how maintenance is handled in the future.

In general our experience was very good. Brett Reed was very helpful and quick to respond. Our only disappointment was in that it was not completely clear upfront that there would be an additional $75 fee for the water bill. So basically our rent is $75 more than we understood it to be. And then in addition we found out that we have to pay to use the washer and dryer, and this is on top of paying for a water bill. So yes that was frustrating.

Everything was great

Everything was great. Being able to self view the home on our own schedule was very convenient and safe. The application process was quick and easy online and someone from customer service was readily available to help anytime I had a question. Very prompt, efficient and professional all the way through!

Very disappointed with the property…

Very disappointed with the property management service we received from Darwin. They would not meet with us for the walk thru of the property, but we took pictures and a video so that we would get our full deposit back. We moved out 7/31/2020, and we did not receive our deposit until 9/9/2020 which a property manager is supposed to return deposits within 30 days by law. The check came with NO explanation of what they were charging us back for.

Worst Rental Search Experience Ever

After a week of the original leasing agent ghosting my husband, I requested to be shown a property via the Trulia app. No one ever called me, and a couple days later I started receiving emails to "finish the application I started" for the home. I never started any such application but started receiving these emails every day. After a week of no contact other than the pushy emails, I responded to one stating that I could not apply for a property I didn't own and requested for someone to contact me to schedule a showing. After a couple more replies complaining that no one would contact me, someone finally reached out and gave us a code to enter the house for a self-guided tour. Once we entered, there was an alarm that no one mentioned that was armed and started going off. We could not reach anyone with the company to get help. The house itself was in horrible shape and the photos on the app did not accurately portray the pitiful state it was in. When contacting the company they just apologize for the inconvenience and say they contacted the leasing agent. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous. As a tenant, I would not rent a property managed by this company, and as a home owner, I would not recommend using this company if this is the way your property is going to be managed.

Kristen is amazing! Not only did she get my house rented in record time, but when I needed to sell I trusted her to be my selling agent, as well. Kristen is honest, fair, and timely. I couldn't be happier with Kristen’s services and continue doing business with her and her team, to this day.
