Good service but a bit slow

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service from Lisa quick & easy with everything explained to me & answered all questions I had, she’s a gem!!

RIP OFF CANCELLATION FEES! PLEASE READ. If taking out learner insurance with this company please be aware that if the person passes their test and you cancel the policy they will charge you £40 for the privileged and give no refund on the annual policy. I cancelled my daughters policy after 9 months, and was charged £40.00. Typical rip off insurance company who make money from a policy that will, in most cases, be cancelled early due to the nature of it. My advice would be to avoid. Or do not cancel your policy, just let it run its course and expire. RIP OFF. By the way, if you read through the reviews, all the 5 star ones sound so fake. Be aware!

We had taken a learner driver car insurance policy out, my son passed his test and therefore had to end that policy and take out another. We we charged £100.00 in cancellation fees and admin fees to do this. We have not cancelled the policy early or changed to another provider. We had to end the policy as he had passed his test and the policy was no longer valid. This is atrocious!

Do not have Taxi insurance from collingwood, if you have any no claim accidents they will never close your case and give you non claim bonus certificate. As I have it and waiting for non claim bonus certificat from last 4 years and they always tell me they are waiting from last 4 years for invoice investigation. OMG

The only company who have some empathy for young taxi drivers. Especially SARAH is a Gem. She handled all me queries in a professional way.

It is relatively easy to get a good price for learners insurance policy. But it should be clear that, even if you buy an annual policy, the likelihood is that you will have to pay more when you pass your test. My son passed his test after 8 months, and had to pay more when we cancelled (as advised by them). And even though I hadn't signed up to CPA (continuous payment authority) as it was an annual policy, they took the money from the card that originally paid the policy which they are not allowed to do. I was in discussion about all these points with them, but they have now stopped replying. So they may appear to be cheap, but do your research!! Update following their eventual response (6 weeks later). My review content still stands, make sure you do your research and understand the process before signing up to Collingwood.

Been using Collingwood taxi insurance a while now and always get great service the agents I speak to are always helpful and friendly and today was no exception I was helped by Lisa who as always give me great service and is so friendly and helpful can’t fault them and I also now like the new call waiting system instead of leaving your number
