Item arrived (Moka pot Bialetti Moka Express) the only packaging around the manufacturers box was a plastic bag. I bought this as a present, the lid of coffee pot had come through the manufactures box and all the corners of manufactures box damaged. I would not buy from coffee friend again

Recently, I ordered a Nespresso DeLonghi Essenza Mini. The item takes 7 working days for delivery, but I found an excellent price and am happy with my order.
Been waiting weeks for an order that just keeps getting pushed back have now decided to cancel and order elsewhere.
Customer service was fantastic when I made the mistake on the order, they corrected it without quibble or fuss and delivered within reasonable timescales
Coffee machine arrived damaged by courier. Despite us providing video footage opening the box to reveal damaged contents (bent casing around drip tray holder, smashed water holder, water damage in box) it still took Coffee Friend two weeks to ‘inspect’ the machine and send what they said was a replacement machine. The ‘replacement’ arrived, still with some bent casing around drip tray holder but as this was fairly minor and we’d been without a machine for so long I decided to make do. This was a big mistake as the machine started leaking after the first backflush. We returned the machine and were told repairs would take 4-6 weeks. It’s already been 10 weeks and they say they're still waiting for parts and can’t tell me when the machine will be repaired. I can’t afford to write off the £2,000 we paid for this machine but don't know what to do as they've ignored my request for a refund. Update: following this review they offered me a temporary machine. When I accepted they replied to say they'd actually now fixed my machine and attached a picture...of the corner of a completely different machine. A picture wouldn't prove anything anyway. Feels like another stalling tactic.
Delivery in 1-3 days as advertised. Nespresso Inissia great, works perfectly. HOWEVER: machine arrived with EU plug. An adaptor was included but EU plug wouldn’t fit properly in adaptor. Had to purchase an adaptor so we could use the machine. I would not have bought the machine if I had known it would be delivered with an EU plug. No information was given indicating machine would not have uk plug.
Was not clear that it was an international machine, disappointing

The worst company ever. Not sending parcels and not responding to emails. Parcel still not dispatched after 7 days of purchase. Had a bit of luck to reach out to someone on the chat and they reassured me that my parcel will be dispatched same day.... I've checked opinions and I'm not the only one not getting parcel. I asked it to be cancelled as I don't believe I would ever get it. Avoid!!!!!
The customer service is non existent! I have to chase them then MAYBE they might reply to you but it will take weeks for a response. I had to return my coffee machine because it was faulty and then they got my address wrong for courier pick up which I know I gave them the right address then my coffee machine potentially got stolen by DPD because I had to follow up for my refund 2 weeks later and the courier told them there was nothing to collect but I have clear cctv footage that they collected and sent this to coffee friend but they don’t seem to take it seriously NOR have they responded to my messages and there's still no resolution. Worst customer service. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!
A customer service agent rang me this morning to say the order would be 100% sent out today. I have just rang Coffee Friend to find out it will be now 100% despatched tomorrow!!! Should have stuck with Amazon Will not use Coffee Friend again (no friend of mine)
I had high expectations when ordering my barista equipment from this company, but unfortunately, it turned out to be not that easy. The issues started with the shipping of my order, which was delayed due to technical problems with the label. While the support staff were polite, their promises to resolve the issue were empty. It was only after multiple phone calls and significant effort on my part that I could get any clarity on what went wrong with the shipping. Eventually, after much stress and weeks of waiting, the order arrived. However, my original order was inexplicably altered post-purchase, and I received no invoice for my nearly €1,000 coffee machine. This led to yet another round of phone calls to chase the invoice, which I was assured would be sent today. Unsurprisingly, it still hasn’t arrived. How can a company operate with such unreliability? How can such poor organization and communication be acceptable? I regret my decision to shop here and will never order from this company again. The entire experience was unnecessarily stressful and riddled with problems. If you’re looking for a hassle-free purchase, look elsewhere.
