I purchased a Fellow Ode 2 Grinder from here after good reviews from a friend. The customer service was great initially, as I had a problem with ordering which they sorted out very promptly. Unfortunately when the grinder arrived, the box was not sealed and there was coffee in the grinder - it had clearly been used and sent back, before being sent out to me as "new". Customer service intiailly told me this was still a new machine, and must have not been cleaned properly by the manufacturer after testing. I contacted the manufacturer to confirm this, but they told me this was certainly not the case, and the fact the factory seals were broken indicated this was a used and returned product, not a new one. Upon asking for a refund from Coffee Friend, I was told this wasn't true - implying that either myself or the manufacturer were lying? I would much rather trust the manufacturer here than the retailer. Getting a return was a bit of a hassle, as they clearly didn't want me to return this product and their friendly tone soon disappeared. Eventually I did get a return label, so hopefully I will actually see my refund and have no other issues. I will write an update after the experience.

Great ordering process and fast delivery.

An efficient service whereby the coffee pods arrived in good condition. A competitive price but it should be noted that an admin. charge is added for small orders as well as the delivery charge. Order tracking was good and having ordered on a Saturday and my order was delivered the following Wednesday. No problems and I would use Coffee Friend again for similar orders.

1 star is too many for this company. Sold us a used machine as new. It came with old bubble wrap and coffee grounds in it and still arguing that it was new, unbelievable. Finally got them to take it back and two weeks later no refund given of almost £2000, had to call to get it and their excuse is that it was in a queue and that's why it took so long! The only thing that doesn't surprised me at all is that they had an enormous queue of return items and also that their intention was to keep the money. Never knew another company so immoral and unprofessional.

Very efficient service and swift delivery. Communication excellent throughout. Would have given 5Stars but held one back as the Nespresso machine came with a European 2 pin plug with an adapter. Not an issue in itself but is not obvious in the purchase process.

I read the mixed reviews on here and was nervous, but everything was fine. I ordered a machine and it came the next day which was far quicker than expected. It all works and I’m really pleased. Good value price was a bonus too
