These were great men. A tiny elevator in an old building made our move challenging, but they surmounted every obstacle. They were really professional and courteous. At a nearby location, they even made room for us to dispose of some of the items we were abandoning. They have our full support.

I should've expected this I was offered a free estimate for my move. We went through each room. They gave me an estimate for my move, and when I told them I wasn't ready to make a payment yet I was accused of being rude. High-pressure sales and a real jerk on the phone... it's still amazes me that there are companies that will treat you like this when they don't get their money immediately.

Worst movers I found in my 75 years. Don't record your information accurately. Then call you back to add more fees for their mistakes. They then sent a subcontractor who said he couldn't take all my things and added another 1000 fee. STAY AWAY FROM THEM..CAUSED MAJOR STRESS.

With Andress and Ryan, we made a wise choice. They immediately made us feel welcome and prepared everything! The BBQ lifts that are situated over the apartment fence deserve special recognition! These folks did a fantastic job and are great at solving problems!

STAY AWAY!!!!! We chose Coastal Moving because they seemed knowledgeable; however, the salesman Eric failed to mention that they were a broker. After finding this out it was too late for the return deposit. I thought it should not be that bad, but I was wrong. On the day of the move, I found myself dealing with a completely different company—one that, unsurprisingly, charged us more. I anticipated the upcharge BUT the cubic feet was off by more than 40% of what was originally quoted. Leaving me with another 5 thousand dollars to pay. They then took apart everything, including the bed frame, bookshelves, legs on the chairs and other furniture. I assumed they would make a note to reassemble everything upon delivery. (WRONG) We were told that our belongings would arrive on a certain date, but they ended up arriving six days later, with yet ANOTHER company handling the final drop-off. Upon arrival, three of our biggest items were missing: a queen-size mattress, a large area rug, and a cat tower. To make matters worse, none of the furniture they disassembled was put back together. As someone moving across the country, do you think I had immediate access to a toolbox? I called the main line at Coastal and was directed to then deal with the moving agency that picked up our stuff and that their side of the deal was done and they owed us nothing. Ultimately that other company settled the issue with compensation, and their employees were great—I should have just gone with them from the beginning. Coastal, on the other hand, should be much clearer about their process instead of misleading customers by implying they handle the moving themselves. Coastal Moving is fraudulent brokerage!!!! Honestly, you're better off doing it yourself than ever hiring them!

This is the worst scam artists I have ever encountered. The lies just went on and on. Then they held my things hostage until I came up with another thousand dollars this is after I waited almost 10 days for my things. Then they said just go get a hotel. I understand now why people say moving companies are shady. Do not use Coastal scam artists

We were happy with how our first move company hire turned out. The three men who appeared were friendly and well-behaved. Throughout the day, they worked really hard and made sure they knew where to keep our things. After carefully reviewing our directions, they offered to help put our furniture together and take it apart.

This business was helpful, considerate, professional, and cautious. They moved things from top to bottom and bottom to top in my two-story home after picking up a piece of furniture I couldn't move myself from a nearby town. They were prompt, cautious when wrapping, and provided me with clarification when necessary. They were available sooner rather than later, and the booking process was excellent. Without a doubt, I would use them once more and suggest them to friends.

The overall cost was fair and provided excellent value for the promptness and skill of the three movers who helped us during the day, even though their pricing structure is different from that of other moving companies. We appreciated the company's regularity and availability, even though they spoke with us a lot prior to our move. Naturally, they want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

I've moved my possessions into storage and out of storage with this services twice. The second crew of movers more than made up for the first group's rude treatment of my possessions. Knowing the sentimental worth of my heirloom and handmade furniture, they handled it with care and respect. They even made sure everything was securely packed for the lengthy trip north, and nothing was damaged. The degree of respect and understanding they displayed amazed me. I heartily endorse them.
