I have had to move across the country and my sales occupation about 20+ times. This was the first company I called, To start the moving quote process. This was hands-down the worst experience I had ever had with a lady on the phone. She was completely scripted and full of crap, Not likable at all. Tried to backed me into a corner treated me as if I was incompetent. Did not ask me the right questions and then tried to argue with me. She was hung up on. She literally tried to tell me, That all of the other Moving Crew didn’t have availability before she even knew the weight the inventory or the proper locations, She didn’t find out any information and acted like she was gonna charge me thousands of dollars because no other Moving Crew were available … I let her know what my general pricing was on a flat rate contract, and she laughed at me, And told me that prices had changed since last August. She had zero credibility, trust or rapport with me at all. Ridiculous stay away from this company. Their sales people are shady….

I wish I never with would've started with this company! Started off being one quote and ending being Double the amount once my shit finally got picked up at storage unit. Coastal then went to Cross Country Movers who's rep Kelly don't respond well to phone calls (rather text). This shit is ridiculous!!!! The communication SUCKS. It's been 2 weeks, no straight up answer from anyone and ALL my belongings are out there floating around somewhere!!.. 4 thousand dollars spent so far!! Like WTF!!

Never used the service. Requested a call and got another company prior to getting a call back. Once I got the call back I told the caller never mind and no thank you. The person on the call responded with "good, okay you couldn't afford it anyway" and hung up on me. If this is how you return sales calls this is a joke of a company. Will never be reaching out again.

STAY AWAY!!! These guys are a TOTAL SCAM. We engaged for moving services and they provided an estimate based on a "legitimate" inventory listing call with one of their agents. I place a deposit with them. A week before the move they call again to confirm the move and run through the inventory again. Even though the inventory was the same, the price increased by $1,000. So now they have my $2,000 deposit and $1,000 that was charged to my CC on file upfront a week before. When the movers show up now they wanted almost DOUBLE the rate from $5K to $8K total from an initial estimate of $3.5K - at this point I began investigating the company and there were dozens of reviews showing this predatory and SCAM practice. Now they have deleted their old account with Trust Pilot and created a new one. They create fraudulent reviews posting multiple 5-star reviews each day - notice how they have a high volume of recent reviews. NO company has that kind of traffic unless it's false. I have all of the emails to prove this I eventually declined to have them touch my stuff because others had reported waiting MONTHS for the movers to deliver their belongings or even NEVER receiving them in some cases, and WHO KNOWS how much they would have wanted to charge us for the "final delivery" they could have easily asked for another couple thousand just to get your stuff back. My bank even reversed my CC charges after I disputed them because they realize this company is BOGUS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - FINANCIAL EXTORTION.

I received quotes from five different companies including costal. Costal quoted me $8k full service (packing included) while the others came in between $15-17k. I realized that Costal low balled my quote which means it would likely double after they actually picked up my stuff. Their estimate took five minutes over the phone just asking me questions about what I had. The other companies took the time to go through each room and took about 30 to 45 mins each. Worst is that Costal wanted a deposit and told me that I would lose all the discounts if I waited. Really pressured me to put down money before I could educate myself. Advise is to definitely get multiple quotes from different companies to get a feel what the average estimate really is. I’m so glad I didn’t go with them! They would have really taken advantage of me.

They were on time, promptly notified me of any delays or glitches, were polite, personable and worked hard. The weather was absolutely crappy, but they were very professional to me and to each other.

Coastal and Loadrans were a wonderful help with our move out of state. With their crew they quickly and efficiently loaded our stuff as we sat back worry free. Victor and Moe were exceptional employees making sure any worry we had were quickly taken care of.

I’m not sure how these people have a 5 star rating on trustpilot because their google reviews show the real experience. They give you a low ball quote and pressure you to out a deposit down. They tell you that you have 72 hours to get a refund. Exactly 72 hours later they send someone to pick up your stuff and you’re told that there’s too much and the quote doubles even though you gave exact measurements of your items. You’re then told that you have to pay the higher price or you lose your deposit so you naturally agree because who wants to lose $1800. My stuff was supposed to arrive here in Michigan by December 23rd. It is now February 9th and I still haven’t received my stuff. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and suddenly they are returning my call but they now want $1200 in addition to my quote to get my stuff.

This company made my long-distance move effortless. They were organized, professional, and took care of all the heavy lifting. I didn’t have to worry about anything; they handled everything from start to finish. My belongings arrived safely, and I’ll definitely use their service for any future moves. Excellent experience!
