CAR FROM JAPAN Reviews

This was my first time buying a Japanese vehicle and Ken made the experience top tier. He was able to explain how the process worked and was there with me until I received the vehicle. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a great vehicle!

It’s been 6 months since I received my Toyota Alphard 2015 good performance on the roads here in Bermuda no mechanical issues whatsoever in an immaculate im happy choose to purchase through Car From Japan !!!!

This was my first experience with this type of transaction. I can't say enough about the professionalism of Mr. Austin and Car from Japan. The pre-purchase inspection of the truck was totally spot on. The truck came with all factory componets and systems in 100% working order. All fluids were new and no leaks or drips, even windows were unchipped! I am in 14th month of ownership and truck is performing great. I use it primarily for off road and hunting, so nice to have heater and enclosed cab and 4X4! My sxs is not getting much use anymore. I have 4300 km and no problems!! Yeah!! The only issue was on my end with paperwork that my broker failed to complete which delayed my reciept of the truck. Always try to hire a broker in your time zone..

Austin has made this entire process a breeze. I purchased a 1999 Honda stepwagon to ship to Jacksonville Florida and even with the port strikes Austin was always informative and provided clear information to me. I will be using car from Japan again!

I had always wanted a right hand drive truck. They are just so cool, tiny, mobile, and good on fuel. I found Car From Japan only with a Google search. Once at the website, I was surprised by how many vehicles were available. Found a 2005 Subaru Sambar and pulled the trigger. Ms. Jun was my guide as Ishe helped me with all my silky questions and golt my truck to Canada. Was worried it would be so very difficult but Ms Jun made it easy. Will use Car From Japan again. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was a little hesitant at first because I had never been thru the process. They keep you in contact with one person the entire transaction, prompt replies and plenty of info to help guide you thru the process. I now have a unique ride purchased for way less than importers charge. I will definetly be back to buy again. As long as you are patience it should take just under 3 months for delivery.

At first, I was hesitant about ordering a vehicle online from overseas, however Car From Japan are courteous, professional, and accommodating from the start. The vehicle I saw in the photos online exceeded my expectations upon arrival and we have received nothing but compliments driving it on the North Shore of Oahu 🤙My wife and I highly recommend Car From Japan and look forward to purchasing more vehicles from them in the future!

Because I live in the Bahamas, I wanted a car with right hand drive, hence searching for Japanese cars on the internet. My first experience with a competitor (Be Forward) was truly appalling - very little consideration for me as a customer. Through a Trustpilot review, I found CAR FROM JAPAN and I could not be happier: from day one I was assigned a delightful lady, Ami, who answered and even anticipated all my questions promptly. She helped me every step of the way. She was so fast in getting things done, despite the time zones - I don't even know if she ever sleeps! In summary, importing a car is a complex process and you should only do it with a company that offers great customer support - I highly recommend Car from Japan. And Ami!

I didn’t like finding damages on the vehicle I was not informed about! Damages under the vehicle were also found that were severe!

Although it was a freaky feeling to put my trust blindly in someone and purchase a vehicle 9,000km away, I was walked through the process by Ami step by step and she put my mind at ease, she always checked on how things were going on my end and quickly answered any questions I had despite the time difference. The whole process took far less time than originally anticipated (3 months), and I'm very excited to get my Mitsubishi Town Box on the road! Not only would I be a return customer, I'd recommend Car From Japan to anyone looking for JDM vehicles!

The customer service was quick, polite and informative. I am quite satisfied with my experience and the swiftness of the order. I am taking off one star because the tire I received on the truck needed to be replaced. They were very knowledgeable.

Very good Came working

Austin from CarFromJapan was great to work with from the very first inquiry email! He was very knowledgeable and to the point. He did not waste my time. I feel like the price I paid for my 1999 Suzuki Jimny JB23W was very fair. When I picked the truck up from the port I did find that I was missing my roof rack. Austin quickly went to work finding out what the shipping company did with it. When it was determined that it was lost, they gave me a very fair refund. I am very happy with my truck and the service that I received. I will definitely buy from CarFromJapan again!

This was an easy and smooth process. Very good service from Ken and the MITSUI company. Would definitely use this site again to purchase a car from Japan.

As of today, it has been 16 days since I wired money to Car From Japan; I a still waiting for confirmation of the funds and information about the transportation of the vehicle (if it even exists. It has been 6 days since I’ve had any communication with Ami, the sales rep I have been dealing with. I will edit this review if anything changes Car I saw a n the internet was “not exportable “ after I wired the money. I chose another in a hurry, but it wasn’t the one I really wanted. Received the (2nd choice) Prado/Landcruiser in late December. It’s in pretty good shape, and for the few minor things I had to address, Ami sent me $500 to pay for repairs.

Car From Japan: Thank you so much for all your help and great communication for a very easy and user friendly process. This my first time importing a car and I was able to get my Mini Truck out of the Puerto Rico Port and car is already at my house. It is exactly as described and as shown on the pictures from the website, what you see is what you get. Very happy with my purchase, your support and service. I highly recommend this website to get your cars from japan. Thank you Adolfo

Thanks Car from japan for your help and support. I was at first unsure about the import process and buying a car without seeing it myself, but the transaction was safe and secured after all. The car has been performing great for like 700 km i guess. Look forward to see how it handles in the cold winter, a bit concerned but still have high hopes.

Car From Japan has a great team member named Ken. He was instrumental in making sure the process went smooth. If I had any questions, he was quick to follow up and address them. I feel like CFJ is the best experience I could have had with importing my first vehicle from Japan. There is a lot of worry with the unknown, fortunately they care and lift that burden from the consumer. Thank you for everything!

Car from Japan is great with communication and helped me greatly through the process. It was quite "Scary" to import my first vehicle, but any questions i had they responded quickly and easily resolved my issues. All in all, i am extremely happy with the result. The car I got was exactly what i was expecting and couldn't be happier with the process as a whole.
