CAR FROM JAPAN Reviews

I bought a Honda acty from this company and they were great. The truck has been great. Everything has been working and I’ve been daily driving it because I live close to my work. The ac, lights and battery were all working and they took a picture of all the “defects” (scratch or dent) the truck had. They answered all of my questions about shipping and documents I would need, they provided everything. I used eezy import to help get the import documents sorted. A year after driving the truck and no issues so far, it only took about 3 months to get it to Freeport TX after I ordered it and the government registration took a while due to their limited availability for appointments, but they had no issue registering the vehicle. I would recommend these guys for getting a Japanese vehicle.

Easy to use website, purchase was straightforward, communication was great! I liked the detailed videos and pictures. I picked up the vehicle at Baltimore port and it was as pictured.

I recently purchased a 1996 Subaru Sambar Classic from Cars From Japan, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process! From the very first inquiry to the moment my kei truck arrived in Florida, everything was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. The team was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions about the truck’s condition, paperwork, and shipping logistics. The photos and descriptions were spot-on, and they provided all the necessary documents to make the import process effortless. Shipping was surprisingly quick, and my Sambar arrived in excellent condition, just as described. If you're looking to import a quality JDM vehicle without the hassle, Cars From Japan is the way to go! Highly recommended! 🚗🇯🇵🔥

Mr. Austin answered all of my questions about the delivery process to Tacoma. I received my 1993 Suzuki Carry with no issues. It was as described and on the video posted. I get a lot of people asking about it and the process. I would use this company again without reservation.

Start to finish, EXCELLENT service. I’ve never imported anything, and Ami was super responsive (even with the crazy 12h time difference). She made sure I had a list of what I needed to make process seamless. Drove the car from Seattle to Minneapolis no problems. 100% recommend.

The team from Cars From Japan made the experience very easy. They helped me get through the whole process and answered all of my questions. I will use them again in the future.

Hello,I received My Skyline turbo in excellent condition,it is my second car that I Buy from you very gratefully,I Will Buy again.

Bought a car for my boss, and their costumer service is really great responds to inquiries right away and the car came as described, car came on time here in Palau and process is fast and efficient. After sales is also is also great responds to all of our questions with the car. I'm recommending this company if you want to get a car.

their service not good. They put sticker without our permission. it's saying bean card shop name on side door. I told why do this. They said it's service. it's not say a service for someone not want. they start saying I'm harassing them. They are harassing me with their strange response. I not recommend this company at all also i don't know who responded to my questions. never tell me name. they know my name, though. the car pictures on web site which i bought didn't have stickers. why sent different car? your customer support said it's exactly same car. just take off stickers if I don't want to. It's just sticker !! It will take a time for remove stickers. also we already paid the car and why you can do put stickers without our permission? keep telling that is a service. without asking us you want stickers ? or can put stickers if we want. never ask and just did. then I'm harassing, because I told that is a lie. not same car because different with pictures. also the person started to blame Japanese. it's problem of Japanese society. ??? started to act the person is victim of my harassment? I just wanted a correct answer who did this or who think this is a good service? switched a topic. I didn't angry If this person answer nicely to my questions, but what is the point your service ( if really you think this is a great service which customer will appreciate?) Who wants stickers Tofu shop Fujita? We are not own Tofu shop in USA. I told can I speak someone else. this person wrote don't buy any car from them any more. ok. I understand no more. just so rude after I paid. they were super kind before buying the car ( only communicated with messages, but could tell differences and I was telling to everyone they are super nice and so easy to deal. super kind and I was glad I bought from them..etc.. maybe different people after I paid. my experience is down to the bottom from this person's response) I never had this bad experience for shopping paid over $10 thousands

I was a little hesitant in this process. I’ve never been a consumer who pays for anything all up-front & not actually seeing & feeling what I’m buying. Carfromjapan & especially Ken were very communicative throughout the process. I had my concerns throughout the time from payment to pick up at the port, but Ken was always responsive to my questions.
