Phoenix Orange Beach unit 702
Great location and close to everything. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the view from the balcony looking at the beach and lazy river.

The room was very nice and very clean. We absolutely loved the view. The staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you Brett/Robinson for a great vacation! I had family join me from Texas and New York and they all loved it as well.
Worst experience ever. The bed was so bed I had the worst back pain ever. I called your number 2 times only to be told, there is nothing we can do. My vacation was ruined and you don’t care!!!! Never again!!! Worst time ever. And you do not care !!!!
We are along time visitor with Brett Robinson. Stayed at Phoenix IX several times before and are always pleased. Very disappointed that the pool was not usable due to a large maintenance project. This is the first time we were not notified prior to our arrival. All we could find was that no one knew this was going to happen. We have experienced maintenance issues before always with prior notification. This was a management problem as this was definitely not as emergency repair, just managements lack of customer service.
We just got back from our first time ever beach trip. We stayed at Island Winds East. #502. It was absolutely amazing. The view and being right on the beach was perfect. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. My only wish was more comfortable beds. We will be back!
We stayed in room 275 . Not clean ! Food left in fridge . Furniture very dirty had stains ! While standing in living room a service man enters without knocking saying he had a call about stove not working ! We Did NOT call . I was in my nightgown and he kept persistenting he check out the stove !! He would not leave !! After talking with other tenants they had the same problem ! The maintenance people have No right to enter without permission from the tenant !! What if I had been in the shower ?? I will not be returning !!!
Wonderful vacation at Phoenix West 11. Unit 203 is right on the Lobby level. So there is no hassle with elevators. Very attractive and comfortable unit.
Stayed at Phoenix III 3 nights on 7th floor room 3072 I think it was. There was no counter space in the bathroom to put things on. Same with the bedroom stands by the bed. I ended up with a bill much more than the quoted price for the room per day once I paid the $142.38 cleaning fee, the $28.25 Phoenix service fee, the $79.10 reservation fee etc.. There was noise in the surrounding rooms, upstairs there must have been construction all day and kids beside us. The toilet was hard to flush. The wifi was slow .52 mbps but the upload was over 10 mbps. I called front desk and no answer 3 times then I called the next day they said that they would get it reset. It got faster for about an hour and then was back to slow. Everything else was ok. I wouldn't go back because of the hidden costs which I was given the grand total when I booked the room but I guess it didn't dawn on me until I got the itemized bill what all I was paying for. The lack of counter space and the noise. I'll find somewhere else to stay.
Phoenix VII is a nice complex! Room 1411 is not! 1). Walls are cracking throughout. 2). Many floor tiles are loose. 3). The toilet hadn’t been completely cleaned in weeks! The underside of the bowl was filthy!!!
I've visited the area for more than 20yrs and this is the first time that I've had to deal with problems as such that I had. We stayed in Phoenix 7. As that we had a three bedroom, there were no towels for the guest rooms and the guest bathroom towel rack was broken, the showers were filthy, the kitchen was dirty, there weren't enough chairs on our balcony, the bedding had not been changed, there was no mop nor dust pan for us to clean with, there were no skillets for cooking. We had to purchase our own to cook with. And the carpet was dirty. They had a person to come in during our visit to do the carpet. Therefore, we had to walk around on wet carpet for 3 to 4 hours. Given, we were offered and received a partial refund for cleaning, I had visitors, who were not from the area, who were not impressed at all.
Second time staying in Phoenix V. Everything was excellent-from check-in to check-out everyone was friendly, helpful and always smiling! Will def be back!
We stayed at Phoenix VII over the Labor Day weekend. Condo 7508. This was a disgusting condo. There was mold in the hall bath. Towel holders were missing. We had to call maintenance twice before we were there 24 hrs. The blankets smelled gross. I will never stay here again!!!
Phoenix West II.... It was all I wanted it to be!! Check in was very timely and our room was very clean and beautiful!! The surroundings of the building pool, lazy river and the board walk to the beach was perfect!! The maintenance crew was on point at all times I noticed!! Keeping everything so clean and safe! And to add the noise was never an issue around or in my condo!! I love this place and will go back!! Thanks for a good stay and happy memories 🙂 P.S The master suite bed was very comfortable which is always a main stay!! See ya next year!!
Regarding Phoenix West 2 Condo 201 It was great. Perfect amount of room for “olds” and “young’s” and “in between”. Very clean, well furnished and supplied. Loved being on Lobby floor and only needed elevator to go to beach or pool (some of us used the stairs). Our Balcony was over lazy river and we enjoyed hearing and seeing everyone having so much fun. And the rocking chairs were great👍 ONLY negative, bar ice maker needed cleaning so it wasn’t making ice. Cleaning crew should have let management know. I did tell them, but they were not able to have done before we left. This was our third stay at PW2. Different condos each time. All have been great. This location was just one of our favs.....
As always, Pheonix X was great! Great location in the beach right next to Florabama. Beach was great, pool was great. Our unit, #412 on the other hand was not up to par with our prior visits. It was very run down. Wall paper peeling off the walls, counter top peeling up, old moldy fixtures in the bathroom. It reminded me of a bad 1.5 star hotel. After this stay, I am hesitant to book with Pheonix again for fear of getting another unit like this.
The Phoenix VIII was a nice building but room P8-8106 the patio furniture was all rusted out sticking out form the back good enough for the kids get cut or even an adult and there was a bolt about 6” to 8” long sticking out the bar to stop the fridge from opening against the bar glass shelf. The perfect height to pluck out a three year old kids eye out. We had to put an oven mitt over it so the kids did hit it.
Just wanted to brag a little on our vacation this year to Orange Beach. We stayed at the Phoenix IV and once again it was wonderful!!! Our room was beautiful and so was the balcony!! All the accommodations were perfect even all the beach toys and chairs and umbrellas that came with the room!! Everything in our condo worked and the pool and hot tubs were so relaxing!! The kitchen had all utensils for all our cook outs and everything we wanted to do and visit weren’t far away!!!! We will definitely be back next year and will be at the Phoenix properties!!!!
Easy access to beach was a plus! We reserved 1 BR condo that sleeps 4... we had 4 people on reservation. There were no linens/pillows/blankets for the sofa sleeper. When we finally received the sheets/pillowcase the NEXT day, we were informed they were out of pillows and we were not given a blanket. Not impressed with that at all. Should be stocked in condo just like it is everywhere else we’ve been for the last 13 years.
I wanted to get away for a quick three day vacation last week. Something quiet and convenient. Coming from Huntsville Alabama. So I booked this room at Phenix 4 room 3035 third floor. It was right above the swimming pool and the gates that led out from the resort out to the beach. I wasn't there very long before I realized this was the wrong room for me. The pool was very loud. But the part that was very annoying for the whole stay was the gate that was constantly being slammed every time someone went out to the beach every 15 seconds all day. All this Resort had to do is put a spring on the gate where it would not slam loud. There were three gates outside of my balcony one leading to the beach two leading to the swimming pool all three slams every 15 seconds very annoying was a very bad weekend. Until I decided to leave a extra date after asking the hotel front desk to to move me or fix the gate or move me neither was done. The ceiling fan inside the master suite had a very loud knocking sound that would start over in the middle of the night, so had to just turn off each night.
We vacationed to Orange Beach 7/26-7/29 staying in Pheonix 2 room 2053. Definitely not up to par. The master bathroom sink did not have any hot water & the sink would back up due to drainage issues. The room was not cleaned well especially master bedroom/bathroom. Still sand all over floor. The linen in the 2nd bedroom was very hard & starchy feeling! The table on the balcony was very dirty & had not been cleaned in probably months by looking at it. Very dissatisfied with room! Never had any complaints when staying in a Pheonix room but this one I would not recommend spending your money on. Expensive room for the condition it was in!! Also, I sent an email to Brett Robinson regarding my complaints & no one from their office has reached out with a reply. Bad customer service!
