The facility was very nice. There were a couple of issues. When we walked on the floor barefoot, our feet would become filthy. We thought it was the floor of the deck. We asked the desk to have someone come clean the deck floor and they were very helpful. Unfortunately, the dirt was coming from the hallway. Other than that, the condo was very clean. The elevators were slow on the move in day, but other than that they were fine. The pool area and beach area were wonderful. I would recommend staying at the Phoenix West condo if you are in the Orange Beach area

We were in unit #2034 in Phoenix II. It was very comfortable on the third floor facing the ocean. The facility is very clean and kid-friendly. We have a few suggestions for this unit: the fuse box door would not stay shut for some reason; the bath tub/shower needs to be updated; the handrail in the shower kept falling out; the kitchen drawers would fall down when opened; bring extra hangers; the bedspread was gone and there was a ticking noise in the ceiling fan in the bedroom. Other than that, we loved our stay, and we will return. Everyone was super friendly.

We were in Phoenix X unit 1406. There was blood on the sheets in bedroom #2, the master bedroom did not have a sheet, the shower curtain in the master bathroom had a stain on it, one chair on the balcony was missing a leg, the WiFi was terrible, two of the remotes needed batteries and the door to the balcony from the master bedroom leaked during the rain storm.

Very clean, attentive customer service, quick repair requests.

Weve been going to Orange Beach for 14 years and have stayed at Phoenix VII for the last 5 and have always had great service. This year we booked with Phoenix VIII in order to secure a 3 bedroom condo as our children and grandchildren were vacationing with us. Unit 81204. My first encounter was Irene at the front desk. She was outstanding!!! Irene was friendly, personable and very accommodating. We arrived early and our room was being cleaned. Irene called housekeeping to inform them and we were able to get us in to our room early. We appreciated this after a 10 hour drive. Our unit was very nicely decorated, was large enough to accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. The balcony was roomy and the view was spectacular!!! Everything was clean and well furnished. I only had a minor issue. The refrigerator was not very cold and we couldnt get the temp down. I asked if maintenance could come take a look and was told I would have to contact my booking company. I told them it was Brett Robinson and they said I needed to call you directly. So I just googled how to reset the temp and it worked fine after that but could only get 3 or 4 cubes of ice from the icemaker. There was lots of hand sanitizer available throughout the building and all Covid issues were well covered. Thanks for another fantastic vacation! We will see you next year!

This was our 20th year vacationing in Orange Beach. Needless to say, we absolutely love it!! Beautiful beaches, great restaurants and great entertainment for all ages! Stayed 10 days in Unit 904 vs our previously owned Unit 1407 which we completely updated. While 904 is rated a premium unit and decorated quite nicely, I’d like to make a few recommendations as a previous owner. * While king size bed is nice in BR 1 it is very tight to get around. * Same for BR 2 which had 2 queens. My granddaughters loved having their own beds but room was tight and little drawer space for clothes. * Master BR was great. * Master Bath had walk-in shower which I specifically need due to severe arthritis; however, a seat/bench would’ve been nice to sit down on to alleviate chance/fear of falling. * LR/DR area nicely furnished; however, again, almost too much furniture which made space around DR table tight. Lazy Boy recliner nice but manual lever very hard to put up/down. * Storage chest in LR with ball, games, coloring books, etc a nice touch. * Drawers in both bathroom vanities would’ve been nice. * Kitchen nicely furnished; however a non stick skillet as we as a griddle would be nice for pancakes or eggs which don’t cook well in stainless steel. * For a premium unit I expected fridge to have water/ice dispenser which it did not. Also, it was not the same fridge shown in online picture gallery. * DW and range (loved double ovens) as well as W/D were great! * Hall closet locked for owner’s use which gave no space for linen storage. Not sure why owner needs two closets plus outside storage closet. * Balcony furniture was very nice (not like picture gallery); however, tile had been ripped up which we specifically wanted. Again, picture gallery showed tile. * BR carpets looked a little worn. While we loved our stay and only stay in Phoenix X, we will try to book our old Unit 1407 next trip.

We took a second 3 night trip to Orange Beach May 28-31, 2020. We had been the first of May and decided to return again since restaurants and activities were opening. We stayed at Phoenix West for the second time. Our first experience at PW was in room 1705. It was great. This trip we stayed in room 1006 and we were again very pleased. Both rooms were well decorated and well stocked with everything. Very clean also. The pools at PW are very large and provide a lot of chairs. The personnel at the front desk both trips were nothing but kind and accommodating. The entire process from making the reservation to checking out was handled efficiently. I would recommend a stay at Phoenix West to all.

Stayed at Phoenix X last week with family in unit 1412. The condo was very dirty especially the floors . The silverware had food caked on most pieces as did many of the plates and pots present in the condo. The view was nice and we enjoyed the balcony. It was disappointing to see how dirty the condo was especially in the midst of the COVID pandemic . First thing we did when we arrived was go to Publix and buy cleaning supplies ( as well as incidentals like toilet paper and dish soap as they don’t provide anything but a single roll of toilet paper ) and clean the whole place .

Last week my husband and I stayed at Phoenix 2 number 2034. We got to check in early which was nice but the smell when we opened the door was awful! I wasn’t sure I would be able to stay there but we went and bought air fresheners and eventually it was tolerable. The condo was very outdated and not very clean. It felt very grungy. There was also no supplies in the condo. Just 1 roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels and 1 packet of dishwasher powder. The drawers in the kitchen almost fell out when you opened them. We wouldn’t even sit on the couch. The bed was comfortable but there was only a cheap itchy blanket for cover. The elevator also smelled bad and the whole complex wasn’t very clean. I will say the shower pressure was good and the furniture on the balcony was nice. We have been to Gulf Shore/Orange Beach many times and this was the first time we stayed at a Phoenix property. I don’t think we will be going back.

We really liked Phoenix 1. We stayed in unit 1126. Accommodations were fine but the decorations and furniture could use updating. The dining chairs looked like they were out of a medical office waiting room. The outdoor furniture is way out of date too and some of the straps were broken on the chairs. We would stay at Phoenix 1 again but not this from. The bed was comfortable

WE STAYED IN PHOENIX 1 CONDO NUMBER 1092. WHEN WE GOT THERE THE SHEETS WERE STAINED UP BAD. THERE WAS A DIRTY RAZOR IN THE SHOWER. SAND WAS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. I KNOW AT THE BEACH THERE IS SAND BUT YOU COULD TELL THE FLOOR HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED. THERE WERE DIRTY DISHES IN THE ROOM. THE LIGHTING WAS HORRIBLE. THE CODE FOR OUR DOOR HAD TO BE REDONE 3 DIFERENT TIMES BECAUSE THE CODE WOULD NOT OPEN THE DOOR. THE CEILING AND WALLS NEED TO BE CLEANED THERE WERE SPOTS ALL OVER THEM AND THE FURNITURE AND THE RUG IN THE LIVING ROOM PART WERE STAINED UP. THE WASHER AND DRYER TOOK FOREVER TO WASH AND DRY! THE WASHER LID WAS BENT SO IT DIDNT EVEN CLOSE GOOD. THE TOWELS THAT WERE IN THE ROOM GOT FUZZ ALL OVER EVERYTHING EVEN AFTER THEY WERE WASHED! THE TV IN THE MASTER ROOM WOULD NOT WORK. THERE WERE NO EXTRA BLANKETS AT ALL FOR US TO USE ON THE PULL OUT COUCH! JUST OVER ALL BAD ROOM EXPERIENCE. WE HAVE ALWAYS LOVED ANY OF THE PHOENIX ROOMS BUT THIS ONE NEEDS SOME WORK DONE AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED ESPECIALLY FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE SPENT TO STAY A WEEK!

So happy we booked for the Memorial Day weekend (Thurs-Tues), which made our first getaway with the whole family even more memorable. As soon as I found out Gulf Shores beaches were open, we booked our trip to include my boyfriend and my brother's girlfriend, my niece, along with our parents. 3 bedroom condo at Phoenix X was clean, and LOTS of CDC guidelines being followed by Brett-Robinson - perfect!!! Staff was attentive, security checks and constant cleaning in high traffic areas; I wouldn't expect anything less having stayed at this property previously. My parents, who aren't crazy about the beach, loved it! Ready to book again!

We stayed at Island Winds West. There were no batteries in two remotes, the WiFi was horrible and there wasn’t enough parking for all the guests. We had to park in public parking down the street. This condo wasn’t cheap and I would expect to have a parking space. We were told by the security person if we were staying in West we couldn’t park in the East parking lot.

My “quaranteam” was thrilled when Gulf Shores reopened the beaches. Staying with Brett Robinson was a breeze! The website booking was easy to navigate and see the upgraded cleaning standards really put me at ease as a mom. The staff was not only serving the Southern hospitality my soul was craving - but with safety measures in place for social distancing. Sanitizer and guidelines posted everywhere and families were cordial about one group at a time in the elevator - lots of extra precautions to keep us safe as we tried to regain our sanity in the sun! The property was amazing and I can’t wait to visit again. I highly recommend Brett Robinson for taking care of your family when you feel safe enough to venture out!

We stayed at Orange Beach Phoenix East #706 & had a wonderful place to stay. Pictures & description of resort & condo were right on. Protocols for covid 19 were strictly followed. Chairs at beach had at least 6’ distance. People were respectful & kept their groups spaced out.

We stayed at Phoenix Gulf Shores and had a great experience. The "verified clean" protocols they touted are definitely in place and they did a great job managing people and traffic flow. There were hand cleaning stations everywhere you looked in public spaces(even elevators). The unit we stayed in was very nice, uniquely decorated and VERY spacious. We will definitely be coming back!

I have been staying at Phoenix condos for over 20 years. This past weekend we booked at the Phoenix Hotel and Suites. Virginia was the clerk that checked us in and I don’t think there is a more UNFRIENDLY person on earth. She acted as if our breathing bothered her. We did arrive early and were hoping for an early check in but boy did that NOT happen. We completed all the paperwork and my questions were answered with her short snide responses. She told me I would get a text when my room was ready, which I have yet to receive. I asked her what time the room would be ready and replied with the utmost snarl “4!” I saw a box of masks on the counter and asked Virginia if the masks were for the guest. She said “two per room” so I tried to get only two out of the box. Well, when I pulled them, several fell into the floor. She said nothing....so I reached down to pick them up, there was about 10. When I stood up, her hand was outreached toward me and she said once again very rudely “here, I have to throw them away now.” I then asked her where the facilities were that we were told that we could use until the room is ready and she just nonchalantly pointed to the restroom which was outside. Feeling very unwelcome, we walked back to our car. My son and 3 other family members that were with me needed to use the restroom so I told them were to find it and myself and the other adult with me soon walked in behind them. As soon as Virginia saw us, she proceeds to question us about the boys suggesting that we had too many people with us. I assured her that as a registered nurse with a bachelors of science, that I could read, write and count and that not everyone who was “walking” with us was sleeping with us. After the front line encounters I have had recently with COVID-19, I was looking so forward to this little weekend get away and the arrival was extremely disappointing. I bragged to my friend that was with me about the Phoenix facilities as she had never been. Needless to say the first impression was awful. My friend’s mother was hospitalized in critical condition the night before we were to check out so we were up all night on the phone with family and the medical staff at the hospital where we live. On check out morning, we woke up at 9:55 am, 5 minutes before we were to check out. We went to the desk told Virginia what happened and she said you can have until 10:30. She didn’t care at all!!!! We packed as fast as we could but of course we weren’t done by 10:30. We paid almost $600 for 42 hours in this room so yes I expect to be treated with the utmost respect and just some common curtesy. (Check in at 4 and out by 10) I’m still floored by the way we were treated.

We have stayed at Phoenix West yearly for the last 12 years and have rarely had a bad experience but this year was not good. The condo (602) was not as well stocked In the kitchen as previous condos. The dryer never worked correctly despite reporting it and someone coming up to “fix it”. The beds were very uncomfortable. We did enjoy the lower level and not requiring so much elevator time. I can truly say this is the worst of the units we have stayed in at Phoenix West. Hoping for a better experience next year.

We stayed at Island Wind East. The location is great (opposite side of the hustle and bustle). However , i was not satisfied with the furniture. The sofa cushions and pillows smelled old and musty. It appeared that they had never been washed. I can say the same for the bedding. The pillows on the beds had an ‘old’ smell. I was very thankful that I had packed my own pillow from home. Also, when i booked the condo, it showed $92/night but once I booked it, my total bill was $700 I didn’t appreciate the false advertisement

I’ll start with the positives: location is great, amenities are good, huge balcony in unit, open layout is great. This was our second stay at one of the Phoenix West condos (we stayed at II last year) and were very pleased - plus the kids love the water slide and lazy river at both of the PWs. Unfortunately- our unit was very disappointing. The most disappointing aspect was the mattresses in the unit. They were awful. Absolutely no way of getting a good nights sleep on any of the four beds. You could literally feel the springs in the master bed and underneath was a rollaway metal frame. The bed setup was very low budget. My family left longing for our own beds and a good nights sleep- not rejuvenate the way you would hope after a few days of vacation. Decent bed accommodations is something Marriotts and Westin’s do much better. Additionally, the dishwasher was a terrible, low budget, example of a dishwasher that did a poor job washing dishes. I have family members who own condos on the beach and I know how frustrating it can be dealing with renters who tear up things and do not respect the property they are staying at. I get that. But it’s no excuse to not use better beds and mattresses in one of the nicest condos in Orange Beach. We won’t be back to PW I (Unit 1201).
