From scheduling my gas boiler service to the actual service, I cannot speak highly enough of the level of quality of the experience. I was kept informed by email, texts and calls closer to service. Brilliant service person. He was polite, friendly and informed me to watch my boiler fan, reassured that it could be repaired if it became an issue and went throughthe servicewith me. I really appreciated this level if service.

Paid for a boiler service.Agent came took boiler apart, and said it was broken and would have to come back with parts.Never returned.It took 7 weeks to finally get money back.Had to get independent registered guy who came and put boiler back together and said it was perfect,nothing wrong with it !
Firstly l felt forced to do everything online which l think is discriminating as l cant afford to buy a pc atm after my previous one broke. I've never managed to access the rewards or comps. I find it hard to know what my bill actually is or when its due. I prefered getting it through the post and then paying it. The people on the helpline are nice so the 2 stars are for them. I've no idea if its good value as l dont receive or understand the bill anymore. It seems expensive though and they just take the money out of your bank account before you get to ok or check it is accurate.

Would highly recommend Bord Gais engineers to service your boiler, the whole process from start to finish was made so easy with welcome reminders to reconfirm the booking. Very friendly engineer who gave useful tips on ensuring the boiler is operating at its best. Will definitively be using their services for the next annual boiler service
Excellent trades man. I found it shocking that the price from last year has increased 50% ie from 99 euro to 149 euro. Totally shocked and disgusted with this increase.
I recently got the keys to my house. The former owner took his name off the gas too early and it was disconnected. I thought getting my gas reconnected would be a simple matter. When I first called, the agent told me that once I signed Gas Networks Ireland would be automatically informed and would reconnect my gas. I then left the call and signed up online. The next day I received no email to say I had signed up so I rang their customer service again. The man on the phone confirmed I was signed up so I asked him again if I was due to be reconnected. "Did you fill out a reconnection form with the last agent?" he asked. No I had not. We then confirmed a time for my gas to be reconnected with Gas Networks Ireland. 5 working days away. A long wait but he assured me there was no way to avoid it. I thought the matter was resolved. The day of the reconnection arrived. No one appeared. I rang Gas Networks Ireland to be informed no appointment was made. I immediately called Bord Gais, escalated to a manager and was put on a cancellation list with Gas Networks Ireland. I am still awaiting my reconnection a week from my first call, during this time I've had no hot water for showers or heating. I was not offered any compensation or explanation for my situation besides an apology. I hope to find my gas reconnected soon but I am not holding out hope.
