Had to cancel due to misunderstanding, got stung with £71 charge for 12 hours of cover, operator was in South Africa and was like speaking to a robot, will NEVER use again, disgraceful, greedy company, particularly in cost of living crisis !!
Easy to use website. Good response time to changes and information.
Gd deal . Gd service
Website so easy to use.
The price was good, but excess too high.
Cheapest by far for my GL1500. I won't be doing lots of mileage on it, it's a 91 but still like to get out and about on it. The benefits of being 62, cheaper than a night out with the boys. Thanks. Gee.
It is such a simple process to get insurance through Bewise, fill out a form online and that's its, I already had my van insured through Bewise and adding a new policy to my account in the online portal couldn't of been easier, when you have a busy life like mine you need companies like Bewise to take some of the stress out of what can sometimes be a real headache
The on line pricing was easy to follow and use. The rate given was very competitive
The company was easy to deal with and the agent that helped me was excellent and explained everything to me.
Excellent service very easy to sort
An exceptional member of staff helped me to resolve a problem with patience and understanding
Straight forward very helpful quick to set up and get sorted would recommend
I obtained what I wanted insurance for my motorcycle but the call took 38minutes far too long. Repeating questions I had answered on the application
I upgraded my car a couple of week ago. Prior to upgrading my car, I contacted Bewiser to tell them the new details for my car. I was told that I would have to pay an additional £400 (approx) for the remainder of the year. I said that this was too much, considering my insurance total for my previous car was just over £190 for the year. The lady I spoke to said she would generate a new quote which came to just over £1400 for the year. I respectfully declined and paid whatever fee was outstanding. I then secured car insurance with another company which was around the £350 mark for the entire year. As I had paid the outstanding fee, I cancelled my direct debit. I was not told to leave the direct debit in situ as I was left to believe that I had paid the cancellation fee and existing amount. I thought it was all sorted, however... I then received an email and a letter from close brothers saying that my account is in arrears by £41.11. I had paid this fee already. This included a late payment fee of £25. I phoned close brothers on the 9th of September who told me to ignore the letter as this was sent before I had paid. Apparently, the direct debit was already 'in cycle' but this was never conveyed to me when I paid the amount due and cancellation fee. At that point I thought it had all been sorted, however... Today, I received a letter from Bewiser saying "sorry, we will miss you." and said that I have to pay a cancellation fee. The outstanding balance is now £271.75 which includes a £55 fee to cancel my policy. It then went to say that I have made a payment on cancellation of just over £60, and it said "we have refunded (a few spaces with no words in) "for your" (space) finished with a full stop. This makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. So in summary, I changed my car, got a new quote, it was too much, so I cancelled. Bewiser and Close brothers are both after fees from me, which they are not due, with the most recent cancellation fee being nearly £100 more than my annual cost for car insurance. I've tried to make this review as objective as possible. I will be complaining through the official channels Edit: official referral completed and will be posted out recorded delivery tomorrow. Reply to response: my complaint isn't really about the hike in cost, it's more to do with the letters demanding money after I settled my account!
everything was clean & tidy.
I did it online as I could not get anyone to answer the phone
