NEVER AGAIN

NEVER AGAIN - Do NOT buy an Asus product. They do NOT stand behind their products. I have a laptop with a cracked screen. This (from my experience) is an EXTREMELY rare event - first time EVER for me and I've owned a dozen laptops or more over a period of MORE than 35 years. When presented with these facts and a REASONABLE solution, they effectively told me to GO POUND SAND. And this was the CEO's office. CLEARLY all Asus want's is your $$ up front and as soon as warranty runs out... you're done. NO EXCEPTIONS. So, I say... NEVER AGAIN!!

Bought a brand new laptop about six months ago. It was supposed to be super resistant to dust , drops etc. In six months time 3 keys have popped out and are unfixable. Called the service and they told be that the guarantee cannot cover it Great work Asus

My experience with Asus customer…there is not help, just money making

My experience with Asus customer service has to be the worse experience I ever had with any other company, they don't care and certainly is zero help. they lost a customer.

My first and last ASUS!

An excellent grade refurbished gaming laptop bought on eBay from professional company, doesn't power up after BIOS update. Everything worked perfectly until the BIOS update, that supposed to be a solution to not working type C ports after the forced Windows update. After a broad research this seems to be a common issue for ASUS across the countries. Looks like the company doesn't give a damn to have it sorted. My first and last ASUS gadget.

just another big company who doesn’t care about their customers

It’s obvious they have off shored their customer service department. Just like every other big company. It’s a department that has zero critical thinking ability. And all they do is regurgitate talking points. It’s clear they have no knowledge of asus products. I called to ask if my motherboard would work with the asus thunderbolt ext 4 or ext5 expansion card.

Faulty laptop cost me 1,800 USD!

An 1,800 USD ASUS Zenbook Duo developed a screen crack after just 10 days of use. ASUS support insists it be returned to USA (where I purchased it on holiday), refusing to repair it in Europe. Reddit and Youtube are full of reports of screen craks developing for no reason. I am now 1,800 USD worse off and without a working laptop!

Disappointed – Price Dropped £100 the Same Day My Laptop Arrived

I ordered the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405CA) directly from the ASUS UK Online Store on 29 May for £1,299.99. The laptop arrived quickly on 2 June — but to my shock, the price dropped to £1,199.99 that same day on both the ASUS UK website and ASUS’s official Amazon UK store. I contacted customer service asking if any goodwill refund or store credit could be offered, as the timing felt extremely unfair — it wasn’t weeks later, just a few days! They repeatedly told me the only option was to return the laptop… even though I had already started using it. I had done a lot of research before choosing ASUS over Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung. My last laptop (an Acer Swift 5) lasted nearly 8 years, and I chose ASUS hoping for the same reliability and trust. Sadly, this experience really affected how I feel about the brand’s customer care. I’m not asking for anything unreasonable — just a gesture of goodwill for a very recent purchase that immediately dropped in price. It’s disappointing that ASUS wouldn’t consider that. Update: I’ve saved screenshots showing the original order on 29 May and the £100 price drop on 2 June (visible on both ASUS UK website and their Amazon UK store). I’m happy to provide them upon request.

Courtesy RMA for a Z590-E Motherboard I bought back in 2021. I recently upgraded my build with all new hardware, and I wanted to sell my old PC to recoup some of the money I spent. The built-in WIFI on the Z590-E STRIX motherboard wasn't working. I wrote Asus an email explaining that I have been a lifelong customer. The 3-year warranty had expired on the board, but because of my loyalty to Asus, they did the repair for free. I got the board back and it was as good as new! I have done about 5 RMA's with Asus, and I have had great experiences with them every time!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with ASUS Customer Service and Warranty

I am writing to formally express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the service I have received from ASUS, which has been ongoing since last year. I believe it is necessary to outline the situation in detail to explain why I am now requesting a full refund for the defective laptop I purchased. Last year, I bought a brand-new ASUS laptop from a Staples store in North Carolina. From the very first use, the device showed serious issues, including frequent blue screens and screen glitches. Let me emphasize that this laptop was purchased new, in its original packaging, and not from a third-party or used outlet. Shortly after purchasing it, I had to travel abroad for my studies. While overseas, the laptop continued to fail consistently, making it impossible for me to use it for my academic and professional needs, including architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Twinmotion, and others. I reached out to ASUS support at that time, but I was informed that there were no repair options covered by warranty in the country I was residing in. I had no choice but to wait until I returned to the U.S. Upon my return, I immediately contacted ASUS support. I was issued an RMA, and the laptop was sent in for repair. The technical team replaced the motherboard. However, once I received the device back, it continued to exhibit the same problems—frequent and consistent blue screens. In fact, the laptop has never functioned correctly since the day I purchased it. I contacted ASUS again, submitted multiple video recordings showing the repeated failures upon boot, and was told that I might qualify for a replacement. I was initially informed that I would be presented with a list of replacement options to choose from. However, that promise was not fulfilled. Instead, ASUS made the decision for me without consulting me, and sent a replacement device without my input. Today, I received the so-called “replacement.” To my shock and disappointment, the device is not new. It is clearly a refurbished unit—it did not come in original packaging, had visible fingerprints, smudges, and even food crumbs on it. This is unacceptable. After a full year of dealing with a defective product that never worked, having spent my own money on what was advertised as a new device, I feel absolutely disrespected and insulted to receive a used product—especially when I was never given a choice in the matter. I am now requesting a full refund for the defective laptop I purchased. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering ASUS products and highlights the need for significant improvements in their customer service and warranty processes.

G614 problems

I bought an ASUS ROG G16 laptop expecting high quality, but I faced multiple issues in less than a year. First, Armoury Crate failed to detect the motherboard and only worked again after a full system format. Later, my screen developed strange green and blue shadows even though the laptop was barely used and stored in a drawer most of the time. The problem appeared despite careful use and no physical damage. The screen issue still exists, and ASUS support says the warranty expired—even though the problem began during the valid warranty period. As a student, this has caused real stress and interrupted my study needs. I expected better quality and longer reliability from ASUS.

Bought a laptop for my son for…

Bought a laptop for my son for Christmas 2024 for school and gaming. At the end of April, the computer simply stopped working. It would not switch on at all. We contacted Asus as it was only 3 months old. The laptop was collected and we waited to hear from them. We received no email confirmation that the laptop had been received We called and were told that they had received the laptop but that due to a change in the repair centre, there was a backlog and there would be a delay in getting to it. They told us our option was to wait or to take the laptop back and apply for a service at another time. We said we had no choice but to wait. We called after a month and were told the laptop would be looked at in the next few days. We received an email telling us that our warranty was going to be extended but no news on the laptop. We called again. They have now had our laptop for 2 months. They said the laptop had not been looked at yet and could give no guidance about when it would be done. At all stages, the service centre have been very polite but have been totally unbothered by the fact that we have been without a device for two months. We have never been offered any alternatives other than to wait. This is a laptop that is only three months old. Surely at this stage, a good will gesture would be appropriate if they cannot manage their service department. We will be taking legal advice on this matter.
