I got emailed by a very nice person who is named holly. I cancelled my membership and done a 12 month contract so I had to pay one more payment which I did and now I can go the gym for another 30 days thanks to holly

Horrible company Will only allow you to cancel a membership (which was only for 3 months) if you have a doctors letter - which costs £30 and more than the monthly fee! Ill with a chronic illness and email them info from a GP office about condition to then get an email saying owe them £42.50 instead of £18.00. Harassing, bullying tactics by a disgusting company with no empathy or consideration to peoples physical and mental health. After numerous emails and I eventually get my membership cancelled as a "gesture of goodwill" - no apology or acknowledgement that they have been out of order and making something simple stressful and harassing. Discriminating and utterly unhelpful. I provided proof of my medical condition twice and you still kept emailing me then asking for more money! I have a copy of all emails and happy to post on hear to prove you are talking absolute rubbish and only cancelled my membership after I complained further taking citizens advice and bringing up discrimination. Awful company and I hope you get fined for your behaviour.

Horrifying and shocking. My father passed away and my gym membership was in his name as he paid for it when I was 16 years old as I was not old enough to do so myself. I’m now 25, we haven’t missed one payment over all these years and it’s took 4 months to resolve changing the details now into my name and bank account. I did email them with my bank details before the next payment was due so it’s just inexcusable. It’s took many emails which were ignored and many phone calls and visits to my gym who also sent emails that were ignored which has been distressing at the worst time of my life when I’ve really needed the gym the most. They are still referring to me with my dads name despite me telling them what has happened, texting my phone number from my dads mobile number and will not allow my membership to start now for another month. I will have been without my membership for a total of 5 months, It’s just shocking that this was NO fault of my own and due to an awful event that has happened to me, they have not been accommodating at all and should really be ashamed to do this under the sensitive circumstances which were explained to them continuously.
