Argus Car Hire

Booked through Argus but the pickup was actually at Eurocar. The car was over 100k Kms and every panel had small dents and scratches, but that really didn't bother me as less likely to get stung for any damage. Pickup and drop off efficient and fairly quick and this was quite considerably the cheapest estate car from any company at Faro (Fiat Tipo estate)

Alamo did not inform that had to return full then charged $65. Had 2nd vehicle with exact package that wasn’t charged

I have pre-booked my car for my holiday trip. When I finally had reached the argus car center which was not so easy because the transfer guys didn't hold up a sign showing people that they are from Argus my business credit card was denied because I could not sign the papers. They demanded the PIN of my credit card instead. When I told them that I usually sign the papers and don't have the PIN I offered them my VISA Debit Card which has a few thousand Euros on it and for which I had a PIN. But they also refused this card. They also did not let me cancel my pre-paid contract for the car so the money was gone. Moreover I was stuck in the airport of Athen again. (At least they drove me back to the airport.) NEVER BOOK ARGUS CARS!

Insurance was already there so didn’t need one and Alamo car rental was 12/10

We had booked a car by Check24 at Bordeaux at train station for holidays from 27.06. to 08.07.2024. We arrived on time but in spite of our voucher FR145766070 the young crew told us that they had no information from Paris? and therefore no car. They did not help us in any other way. Just told us that at train station there were other car rentals. Now i try to get my money back 350,72€.

I trust this company. I rarely find any surprises. Great prices and value for money.

Had to wade through treacle to get them to agree that i was owed a refund and since 6th of August have been emailed saying my refund will be with me within 5 working days. Now when I email after waiting for 3 weeks asking when my refund will be issued all I get is an automated response. JUST FACE UP TO YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND REFUND ME. They have replied saying a full refund has been issued. MY BANK SAYS NO REFUND HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY THEM SO THE REPLY IS A BLATANT LIE. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE 100% UNTRUSTWORTHY
