Avoid Argus Car Hire at All Costs! Argus Car Hire is without a doubt the worst company for renting a car. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. They operate like criminals, engaging in theft and fraud with no accountability or consequences. Their cancellation and delay policies are shockingly exploitative. If you want to lose your money and deal with a company that shirks responsibility, Argus is your go-to choice. My recent encounter with Argus was infuriating. Due to a significant flight delay caused by a global Microsoft problem of July 19th, I arrived late at the rental desk. The local rental agency, Mex Rent a Car, rent my car to someone else since I couldn’t make it on time. I arrive 3 hours late because of the delay of the flight. Mex Rent a Car received no payment since no service was provided, Despite this, Argus Car Hire refused to refund my money. Argus is pocketing my funds. This is blatant theft and fraud. I've requested several times the address in Mexico to send a legal request about this situation, but my case owner has been unresponsive. If Argus has any intention of addressing this issue, they need to provide the necessary legal contact information. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Argus Car Hire. They are unethical, unresponsive, and a complete waste of your hard-earned money. Location en Grèce. Argus Car nous envoie la réservation chez Zezgo et nous finissons chez Apollo jusqu'alors inconnu dans nos échanges. Ils ont une note de 1.8 sur Google. Voiture de sous catégorie par rapport à notre paiement, abîmée à l'extérieur et intérieur. Loueur très méprisant. Il ne donne pas l'état des lieux. Au retour il nous demande nos photos plutôt que de prendre l'état des lieux et trouve deux micro rayures qui ne se voient pas quand on les prend en photo ! Il note plusieurs dommages sur le bon de retour que nous ne signons pas. Il nous insulte. Deux jours après il encaisse une caution de 1000 euros. Je contacte Kayak par qui j'ai loué, ils me disent qu'Argus car hire va me contacter : rien depuis 1 mois ! Leurs adresses mail sont invalides. Nous avons été arnaqués par Apollo et ceci ne semble pas inquiéter Argus car hire. Aucun professionnalisme ni relationnel.
This company is a rip off. They will market or say anything on third party platform like Kayak. Full refund. But, watch out for the fine print! They will charge you unlike legitimate companies. Don't use them!

Pour ne pas me faire avoir j’ai sélectionné sur le site uniquement les locations acceptant les cartes de crédit et de débit. J’ai choisi un loueur qui précise qu’il accepte les cartes de crédit et de débit. J’appuis sur info importante qui précise carte acceptées lors du retrait carte de crédit / débit. Non accepté ; carte prépayée et électroniques Nickel Mais ce n’était pas bon ! il y avait un lien pour en savoir plus en appuyant sur « ici » En arrivant dans l’agence Recordgo carte visa débit non acceptée, nécessité de payer 199€ en plus des 133€ . Very good price for the time of year & late booking
I have previously made a booking: IT825439980 which I have cancelled more than 48 hours before pick up, I have never seen my reimbursement. I contacted the customer service back in August 3rd and they opened a case for me, case number: 02601567. I have waited more than 20 days and I see that the case status is resolved but I haven't seen any reimbursement. I paid for the car rental via Paypal, therefore, I am still waiting for my reimbursement either via Paypal or directly to my bank account. I don't know how the case status can be resolved if no bank transfer has been made. If this is the case, please provide me with a confirmation of the bank transfer. I have already waited more than 20 working days with no answer and 3 days before going on holiday, this problem has put me and my family in a very difficult situation. We are talking about more than 700EUROS. I see myself obliged to start a legal lawsuit. Never book with these people again.
véhicule conforment en très bonne etat a Tanger, mais a l arrive le vol a du retard.personne pour nous aceuillir.on me demande une surfacturation de 108 €, je refuse , pour que le personnel viennent me donner le véhicule .En faite la personne etait à cote dans une voiture ..... et aujourd’hui j ai un débit de carte de 28€ et je ne sais pas pourquoi !
Wir hatten massive Probleme mit der Autovermietung bei AutoOne in Cagliari. Über Argus Car rental bekommt man aber außer ein paar netten Worten keine Unterstützung. "Wir sind nur der Vermittler" - so die Ausrede. Liebe Argus Car rental- wenn ihr mit so miesen Partnern wie AutoOne zusammenarbeitet, dann fällt deren unseriöses Vorgehen auch auf euch zurück. Wenn ich ein Auto miete, dann erwarte ich mir "echte" Hilfe von einem Vermittler. Das bietet ihr aber nicht. Daher - nie mehr wieder! Ich werde zudem meinen Rechtsanwalt einschalten um die Sache zu klären, mir reicht es.

Really easy to book, collect and drop-off. Hassle free. One not so good point is the desk at airport where the guy just seemed to be on auto, rattling through everything.
Argus booking great but car hire company in Spain was firefly. Do not use. Very confusing pricing structure. Got bamboozled into taking out an additional £400 if costs. When I queried this, the assistant got defensive and aggressive. Completely ruined the first day of our holiday!
Mietwagen war in perfektem Zustand, Rückgabe schnell und unkompliziert. Bei Abholung wird versucht bessere Kategorie zu verkaufen mit allerhand Zusatzprodukten, das nervt und macht die Abholung zeitaufwendiger als es sein müsste. Hier sollte man aufpassen und immer darauf bestehen das zu erhalten was man gebucht hat. Uns wurde versucht von einem Renault Captur auf ein stärkeres Auto zu upgraden zu überreden, weil die steilen Straßen der Nordseite Teneriffas das brauchen würden, allerdings war der Captur dafür genauso geeignet und eine gute Wahl.
