    Avoid! Confusing, stressful and hidden costs

    I've just had a really bad experience with the car rental through this company. I booked a rental and Damage excess refund insurance. When I picked up my car I was told by the car provider that my insurance policy was not valid, that I would still be liable for a large excess and advised to buy a replacement (and much more expensive) policy on the basis that the original policy would be refunded. 3 months later and still no refund. There were a few other customers in the rental desk queue in the same situation... really confused and ending up paying a lot of extra money for insurance. Customer service has been terrible and I would suspect that the wording of the booking voucher and policy is intentionally confusing so that people end up spending extra money. I've been in touch with Argus car hire and car trawler and gone through a PayPal dispute but still no sign of a refund even after being promised one over a month ago. The customer service is so abysmally bad I can only assume that their approach is to wear people down till they give up trying to get their money back. Avoid!

    Relación calidad precio y atención excelente

    La contratación fue rápida y sencilla al igual que la entrega del coche. Lo mejor, el precio del alquiler. Lo peor, el coche presentaba numerosos pequeños defectos y rayas, por eso tuvimos que grabar un vídeo al coger el coche para después poder afirmar que los defectos no los habíamos hecho nosotros y que nos devolviesen el depósito

    Delpaso deliver!

    Delpaso get some negative publicity but, having used the Malaga Airport branch several times, they have been excellent; Friendly, efficient and helpful staff, clean, reliable and modern cars...and great value

    worst customer service regarding refund and customer service

    My wife booked a care through Argus Car hire for 3rd August 2024.24 hours before were going to pick up the car, Europcar ( actual car company) called and cancelled the reservation because Europcar would not rent me a car because her online ID check was not approved, and although she had and offered physical ID and proof of address, etc. for verification, Europcar still refused to rent me a car as per the reservation and then cancelled it and offered a refund. We called Argus and told them about this and they asked me to send in all documents to prove the cancellation and refund offer As requested by Argus Car hire (Customer Care Ref: 02618242, GB143433150) I sent all documents requested on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 5:33:43 PM but have still not not heard anything back from them.It is now 2nd October 2024. Europacar have confirmed to me that the refund has been done to the 3rd party (Argus), however I have not been refunded at all . I have sent out several emails to Argus since August and they have not replied to any of my emails.This is indeed an extemely bad experience from Argus especially since we have been loyal customers for many many years and they need to sort out my refund asap.

    Complete disappointment

    We were traveling with a baby, our rental contract was canceled because we were supposedly more than 2 hours late. Nobody tried to contact us beforehand. The money was gone. We had to book the car again at the counter for 200% of the price.

    Argus Booked a Closed Location, Kept the Money, and Left Me Stranded

    I booked a rental car well in advance with Argus. I received a confirmation that I was good to pickup the car on Sunday 9/15. After traveling to the location I found a closed building with a clearly marked sign that indicates it's not open on Sunday. I called in and Argus wouldn't provide me with another rental option unless I traveled to another airport an hour out of my way and paid an extra $150. They also said they couldn't guarantee the new site was actually open on Sunday and suggested to just show up and see. I said this was ridiculous and asked to be refunded and booked with another company. They wouldn't refund me on the phone and are making me go through an entire investigation process to prove out that I actually showed up and tried to get the car. I gave them proof of this even though you can see the location is closed on google in 5 seconds but they are telling me they can take over a month to determine if I deserve a refund and won't confirm that they are even refunding me at all. 1. Argus did not actually confirm my booking despite saying it was confirmed. 2. Argus allowed me to show up to a location that's clearly closed on Sundays. 3. Argus left me stranded on my vacation unless I paid them a lot more money despite their mistake. And couldn't even confirm I'd be able to get a car if I traveled out to the new airport. 4. Argus has held on to my money despite not providing any services and subjected me to a frustrating and extended investigation process.

    We rent a car by billiger mietwagen and we had to pick it up the car at „goldcar rentel“ in palma! Bookingnumber ES346081760! We rent the car all includet with all insurence!! They want to have 392€ extra!!!!!! The woman at the counter left us after 5 Minutes ,they did not allow us to talk to billiger mietwagen or your var rental !! They all were very very unfriendly!!!!We had to rent another car by europcar!!! Whats about the money we payed already?????????

    Rented a vehicle through Argus

    Rented a vehicle through Argus. When I got to the place, the supplier (Drivalia) said that my booking was cancelled by Argus because I was late. After that, the supplier said they didn't receive anything from Argus and tried to charge me again for the whole price of the car. Lost both the money from the booking and the insurance that I had included. Also, the instructions provided by Argus led me to take a credit card that was not accepted by the supplier. Worst experience that I ever had renting a car, felt like a scam.

    Via Argus car Hire

    Via Argus car Hire, nous avons loué une Suzuki Brezza ou équivalent à Carwiz.Nous étions attendus à l.aéroport de l’île Maurice par un employé qui nous a menés à une voiture qui était beaucoup plus petite que celle que nous avions payée. Un long, très long cinéma de présentation avec moult vidéos de chaque rayure de la voiture et finalement nous voilà partis avec une partie des bagages dans l’habitacle de la Suzuki Swift et après avoir payé 60,38 euros pour un conducteur supplémentaire au lieu des 17 euros du devis. Au retour un autre employé nous attendait et, sans avoir fait le moindre tour de la voiture, ni dedans ni dehors, s’est posté sur le capot et à disait-il, avait trouvé une infime rayure, qui même infime, n’existait que pour lui. Après une bonne 1/2 heure de discussion nous avons décidé d’aller prendre notre avion malgré la menace de dénonciation à la police. A noter que le supplément de 60€ avait été encaissé par « le low cost car »

    Leute finger weg -> unseriöß !!!

    Leute finger weg! Absolut unseriös. Aus dem Nichts wird (ca. 2 Wochen vor Antritt) die Buchungsreferenznummer geändert und die zusätzliche Versicherung gekündigt. Ergo: Der Mietwagen bleibt durch die Änderungen der Buchungsnummer erhalten, ABER die zusätzliche Versicherung (für den man ursprünglich mehr gezahlt hat -> zusätzliche Leistung) wird gekündigt. Auf Anfrage hieß es, das sich die Preise insgesamt erhöht haben und man nochmal für die Versicherung zahlen soll -> Absolut unseriös !!! Von Vertragsrecht haben die anscheinend nichts gehört.

    Argus Car Hire was awesome

    Argus Car Hire was awesome to deal with. I was able to cancel and rebook my car with no penalties and they had the cheapest price. Argus works great with car rental agencies to provide seemless process. Thank you Argus Car Hire!
