Bei Buchung sollte AMEX für die Kaution gelten. Dann wollte Green Motion über 300 € für eine Kautionsversicherung haben. Ich habe dann den Wagen stehen gelassen und überlege gegen dieses Geschäftsgebaren vorzugehen. Uber hat mich dann gefahren ohne Stress mit dem unfreundlichen Personal…..

Booked car hire for South Africa in Jan 24 , but cancelled it in September 3 months before car hire collection date . Refund not processed as I paid via PayPal and they can’t refund on PayPal if it’s after 6 months . Struggling to get the refund even though it’s within the terms and conditions on the website. I’ve chased them but the customer service I disgraceful ! Now waiting for them to email me asking for bank details for them to process a refund …. PayPal can’t help as it’s not covered by them if it’s over 180 days!

The car ordered was a premium German large car and while that was what was provided it was more than 4 years old and it showed in the technology.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from your company. Due to an unexpected delay, we were unable to pick up our rental car at the scheduled time. Despite numerous attempts, we were unable to contact your customer service for assistance. As a result, we were charged for three days of car rental for a vehicle we never received. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I feel that we have been scammed and demand a full refund for the charges incurred.

We went on our long-awaited vacation in Europe, and when we arrived at Pisa airport, the Drivalia company attendant said there was nothing they could do about our problem because we had booked through the Argus Car Hire website. Argus Car Hire initially provided us with a "solution," but now they refuse to take responsibility for what was promised, making excuses to avoid paying, which has nothing to do with our issue. Let’s get to the facts: Victoria rented an SUV - Hybrid on July 15 from Drivalia, with her name as the main driver. Upon realizing that she didn't have enough funds on her card for the deposit at the time of rental at the airport, she changed (on the same day as the booking) the main driver to Ana, who had a card with sufficient funds and all the necessary documents for the car rental (we were traveling together). We received confirmation of the change. When we arrived at the Drivalia counter at the Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa on July 23, the attendant said that the booking was still under Victoria's name and that she could do NOTHING to change the main driver because we had rented the car through the Argus Car Hire website and not directly with them! We lost a lot of time from our trip and day trying to resolve this issue. Victoria called Argus Car Hire, and the representative advised us to rent another car from a different company so that our trip wouldn’t be further ruined (this new rental cost three times more than what we had planned because it was on the same day, and there were hardly any cars available—we checked with all the rental companies at the airport). They said they would open a dispute with Drivalia to refund the amount for the car WE DIDN'T USE (since they refused to help us at the counter—the attendant told Drivalia's call center that they were too busy and couldn't do anything) and to cover the difference due to the inconvenience and damage caused. We continued our trip while gathering all the necessary documents from the new car rental for the dispute, and we attached them to the case opened by the Argus Car Hire call center employee. They gave us a deadline of August 17 to resolve the issue, but we received no response and sent numerous messages. They eventually replied, asking for a photo of the card, and gave us a new deadline. I sent the photo the next day, but they simply claimed that the card had no name on it and that they couldn’t do anything, closing the case (EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS NOT THE REASON THEY REJECTED THE CARD ON THE DAY; THEY ARE LOOKING FOR LOOPHOLES TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED US, AND AT NO POINT DID THEY ONLY MENTION THE NAME IN THE CARD AS THE ISSUE). With new evidence, they decided to open a new case (with a long wait time again) to investigate further. This has been causing us both financial and emotional distress for over two months now. We paid for TWO cars, didn’t get a refund for the one we didn’t use, and had to pay three times more for the car THEY ADVISED US TO RENT. On top of that, they are making us doubt our own mental capacity and trying to manipulate us by inventing false reasons that were never presented before. We've had to resort to external and legal complaints because we can no longer tolerate the negligence from ARGUS CAR HIRE/DRIVALIA towards the customer.
