Just kept some of my money and did not Transfer it to the rental company, ignorance customer Service. Never mentioned any fees or what ever, just stated that with the payment to them everything is settled.

wir hatten eine Woche auf Gran Canaria über CHECK24 gebucht über Argus hire Car😠. nie wieder mach ich sowas. Der Schalter von Sixt ab 18 Uhr geschlossen am Flughafen weil das Flugzeug 40 min Verspätung hatte. Nächsten Tag angerufen wir bekommen spezial Preis und besseres Auto als Kulanz, aber es wurden 300 Euro Zusatz Versicherung berechnet obwohl über CHECK24 alles versichert war. Zur Reklamation dann war CHECK24 auch nicht wirklich hilfreich und lässt den Kunden allein. Nie mehr Argus Car !!!!!!!!!! Lasst die Finger davon es sei denn ihr seid Profis wie die. Die Reklamation hat 3 Monate gedauert und die sagen ich wollte unbedingt die Versicherung. Hab mal wieder Lehrgeld bezahlt . Seit bitte auf der Hut bei denen hahaha thanks for your answer, but you lost me as Client and i Hope more other clients. have fun with my Money 💸

Vero good service

I had a terrible experience with Argus car Hire. They charged me twice for the same car rental, and even after six months, I have not received my refund. Despite repeated follow-ups, including a call today, their customer service failed to provide a clear or satisfactory response. This situation is unacceptable, and I strongly advise others to think twice before using this company. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service are disappointing. I hope they resolve this soon, but I wouldn’t trust them again.

Update: ich habe ja die freundliche Antwort bekommen, dass mein Fall bald geklärt ist. leider war das nun auch wieder vor beinahe zwei Monaten. Was soll man davon halten... 5 Monate Bearbeitung ist das noch backlog oder system? :-) Ich habe vom 14.07.2024 bis zum 27.07.2024 ein Fahrzeug in Bogota (Voucher Nr.CO114970310) gemietet. Der Vermieter hatte aber leider zur vereinbarten Zeit geschlossen. Dies alles können wir mit Fotos und Chat Nachrichten / Telefonaten beweisen. Unsere Beschwerde auf Erstattung der entstandenen Kosten wird nun schon seit drei Monaten nicht von Argus Car Hire beantwortet. Es ist eine klare Faktenlage und es solle hier kein Problem sein zeitnah eine Erstattung zu veranlassen. Ganz schlechter Kundenservice bis jetzt. Bitte klaren Sie erneut den Stand der Bearbeitung und erstatten die entstandenen Kosten zurück.

Very smooth and easy

Good and understandable information before renting a vehicle.

The company sometimes has great offers but catches you with small print. e.g. the accept debit cards for payment but you are not told that the deposit needs to be on a credit card only in the name of the main driver. If you want to change the driver - you cannot, cancel? you cannot, either, you can cancel your reservation and they will find you a new one for ... another 400 euro or so .... The car they offered - never existed with the rental company ....

They booked my rental from a closed branch, and when issues arose, they claimed they couldn’t help, saying it was a matter between me and the local rental company.

Wir haben einen Mietwagen direkt über Argus Carhire gebucht, in den Mietbedingungen speziell für unseren Abholort stand explizit dass Visa Debit Karten akzeptiert werden. Vor Ort wurde uns gesagt es werden keine Visa Debit Karten akzeptiert sondern nur Kreditkarten, sodass keine Kaution hinterlegt werden konnte und wir somit den Mietwagen nicht bekommen haben obwohl alles bereits online bezahlt war. Wir haben extra darauf geachtet einen Anbieter zu wählen bei dem Visa Debit Karten akzeptiert werden, trotzdem haben wir unser Geld für den Mietwagen nicht zurück bekommen! Der Kundenservice ist auch absolut lächerlich, obwohl Mietbedingungen als Screenshot vorgelegt wurden in denen 1 zu 1 steht, dass Visa Debit akzeptiert wird, wird immer nur gesagt dass nichts bezahlt wird oder erst gar nicht reagiert.

Easy to find, with very friendly staff. We collected our car at night and dropped it at the hotel. When we went to leave the next morning a warning sign came in, drove back and the car was immediately replaced with a brand new one. No questions asked and great customer service from Nate the manager.

The staff at the collection and return of the vehicle were very professional and welcoming.

I rented a car from Argus Car Hire starting in Budapest for a month. The rental came with no explicit limitations such as mileage, but when I arrived at the actual car rental place (KLASS WAGEN) I was shocked to hear that they only allowed travel to a limited set of countries within the European Union and since I wanted to go to Germany (which was not on their list) they could not rent me a car. I called Argus Car Hire who pointed out that on page 7 of a 12 page rental agreement there was a mention that there were restrictions on the European Union countries I could visit, and as a result, I was getting NO refund for the over $850 I payed. I find that not making such limitations clear and easy to spot is a best DECEPTIVE, and their unwillingness to do ANYTHING to compensate for my loss constitutes poor customer service. I will NEVER do business with them again.

Achtung!!! Finger weg von der Autovermietung. Sie haben unsere Kaution nicht zurückgezahlt und im Nachhinein behauptet, es wären die Kosten einer Zusatzversicherung gewesen. Eine solche Versicherung hatten wir aber definitiv nicht abgeschlossen, also klarer Betrug. Argus hilft auch bei wiederholter Nachfrage nicht weiter, sondern verweist nur an vier verschiedene Subunternehmer. Nicht vertrauenswürdig und dazu schlechter Kundenservice. Warning!!! Hands off this car hire company. They didn't refund our deposit and claimed afterwards that it was the cost of additional insurance. However, we had definitely not taken out such insurance, so it was clearly fraud. Argus does not help even after repeated enquiries, but only refers us to four different subcontractors. Not trustworthy and poor customer service.
