I was extremely impressed by the efficient and friendly service provided before, during and after we hired the vehicle. No waiting around and a very thorough and transparent process for recording any ore existing damage which gave me confidence in the company
Easy to use service
Fahrzeugübergabe schnell und problemlos. Fahrzeug relativ neu und in technisch gutem Zustand, kaum Kratzer und gute Reifen. Sauberkeit im Fahrzeuginneren (Staub) und nicht aufgefüllte Scheibenwaschanlage führen zu 4 statt 5 Sternen. Fahrzeugabgabe schnell und unkompliziert. Ohne Wartezeit.

Easy to use, good value for money
We had problems with our creditcard. Employee Faro Airport was so unfriendly and arrogant, not even trying to find a solution. So we got no car, standing at the airport with 2 little children and they charged us the full price after our holiday, not even willing to reduce cancelation fee. Never ever again. Never experienced such a bad customer service and no communication with us.
The rental office was easy to find. Stuff was very helpful and the process was quick
Update after company response: I have rented cars for years, had to rent another vehicle in Croatia from another provider after I cancelled my booking, renting a mercedes now and no issues or questions about my credit card coverage from the car rental companies. Argus asked me to provide a letter from credit card company about the coverage when I complained how my car rental money was taken in March for a September rental and why no refund at all for car rental. They took my money and no explanation why they needed to take my money in March for both car rental and insurance back in March for a september booking. My mistake for trying a new agency when I should have not done that. Will never use this company again. Took my money immediately when I booked back in March, they didn't tell me that Croatia car rental companies don't accept third party insurance, I never got money back from the car rental due to cancellation. I got stranded at Croatia airport as sixth car rental company that argus booked the car rental with, told me they never received any money, that I have to pay additional car insurance and agent there was very unhelpful and rude. I cancelled my car rental and never got any money back. Customer support very slow and not very responsive.

Location close to the airport in Malaga. Car was in very good condition. Due to four traveling persons we have been offered a station wagon in the same booking class, i.e. without extra charge.

These people are the lowest scumbags. They will try to screw you out of every dime they can. They might appear low cost at 1st but by the time they get done with you you'll wish you had gone to a decent business. Do yourself a favor & find an honest agency.

First time I've used car rental in Italy, car hire was approximately 100 meters from the entrance of the airport, (easy to find). The gentleman behond the desk was very helpful, very straight forward and easy to understand. No anxiety and ready to start the holiday... I took photos of the car, fuel was on full, so simple bring back on full...simple has that...roads easy to navigate with sat nav, and toll roads no issue. Far better than getting a taxi or other transport. I paid a small extra charge for the accident wavier, to protect my excess, which gave peace of mind while driving. Will use service again in December when I'm back.
Always use Argus. Have done for well over 10 years now. Frequent traveler. Very helpful and useful company

Habe für Ende July 24 ein Mietwagen gebucht. Trotz Zahlung und Voucher habe ich das Fahrzeug nicht bekommen. Musste eine sehr teure Ersatzmietung vornehmen. Reklamatiuon habe ioch bei Billiger.de am 25.07. eingereicht. Weder Argus Car Hire noch Billiger.de haben bis heute den Fall klären können oder nicht wollen. Mein Schaden liegt bei über € 1000,-. Trotz vieler Stunden im Chat, Warteschleife und Telefongesprächen habe ich noch nicht einmal einen Status bekommen. Beide Firmen schieben die Schuld und Erklärungsmangel auf den anderen. Toller "Kundenservice" Anmerkung vom 26.10.24: Schon wieder ausweichende Antworten. Wieso bekomme ich keine direkte Antwort?? Sie sind doch mein Vertragspartner!! Sie haben mein Geld bekommen. Sie haben den Voucher ausgestellt. Billiger.de weiß angeblich nichts. Bitte überweisen Sie mir den entstandenen Schaden
Argus car hire were efficient in booking my car at a cheap rate. I did have issues with scicily by car rental company. I was presuming having booked through Argus car hire before that this would be a reputable company. It wasn’t and I was given cars that were absolutely unsafe to drive with my 5 year old in the car
