Argus Car Hire

I started to book a car for 2 days in France which was priced at €88. I read the terms and conditions and found nothing about the price being available only to residents of the USA. When I put in my address in Ireland it redirected me back to the search where everything was €40-€50 more expensive. Update following Omar’s reply from Argus Sorry Argus, you are on your own here. The initial quotes I got from every other car hire portal I used were the ones that carried through to the price I could book/buy at. My original point stands. Your quotes are misleading your customers. You need to fix this if you want to be trusted by your customers.

Beyond my expectations, reliable and smooth service provided during pick up and drop off. No problem with the car nor the Essence car hire firm . Pls Bear in mind that My experience was purely social and off peak season holiday therefore might have been a satisfactory as I know how hectic Bodrum can be during peak seasons!

Durch ein Versehen war bei unserer Buchung die Ankunftszeit mit 10 Uhr angegeben. Wir waren aber erst nach 17Uhr am Zielflughafen, vom Shuttlefahrer wurde uns gesagt... ihr seid zu Spät dran eure Buchung ist storniert und wenn wir ein Auto haben wollen müssten wir nochmal 180 € bezahlen, ansonsten, sollten wir schauen wo wir bleiben.....da es schon spät war und wir das Auto brauchten, um zum Hotel zu kommen, zahlten wir zähneknirschend den Betrag,.,.,mir ist in über 30 Jahren so etwas dreistes und freches noch nicht passiert.

I was late collecting the car because of delays at the airport and they cancelled my booking left me stranded. refused to reimburse me anything. It was a 47 day car hire I lost 952.23 GBP. Very poor customer service. Terrible experience the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Quick, easy and excellent service.

Si le service de réservation semble simple et les prix attractifs, fuyez ce site. Nous n'avons pas pu récupérer notre voiture arrivés à destination. Le service client nous balade en prétextant que c'est de notre faute car nous étions en retard. Impossible d'avoir quelqu'un au téléphone et nous n'avons eu aucun remboursement ou compensation.

Argus Car Hire & DRIVALIA scammers pls avoid at all cost I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Argus Car Hire. I had to cancel my booking due to unexpected circumstances and was shocked when Argus refused to refund my money. I understand that cancellation policies can vary, but i give them notice before but Argus’s lack of flexibility and refusal to consider the situation was frustrating and felt unfair. Customer service was unhelpful, providing generic responses and showing no empathy or willingness to find a solution. This kind of rigid policy and dismissive approach makes it clear that Argus values profit over customer satisfaction. It’s extremely disappointing, especially given the countless other car hire services that prioritize their customers. I would strongly advise others to reconsider booking with Argus Car Hire. If you value transparency and flexibility, look elsewhere.
