No problem with argus but i would not rent with avis again

Avoid at All Costs! Unfortunately, Argus Car Hire seems to be scamming its customers. We experienced a delayed flight from Mallorca to Munich and attempted to cancel our booking. Despite repeated efforts, our calls were ignored, and we never received a response. Their customer service was completely unreachable, leaving us stranded without any support. If you value reliable customer service, I strongly advise against booking with Argus Car Hire. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not trust them again.

Habe über den Anbieter billigermietwagen.de bei ArgusCarhire bei dem Verleiher surprise (nomen et omen) in Begramo einen Mietwagen gemietet. Sie haben 900 € Kaution von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht (also nicht nur die Kreditkarte hinterlegt sondern abgebucht). Der "Surprice": Nach über 3 Monaten war der Betrag immer noch nicht zurückbezahlt! Als ich mich daraufhin bei billigermietwagen.de beschwert habe meinten die, es sei nun zu spät zu reklamieren, da die Reklamationsdauer nur 3 Monate betrage (!). Daraufhin habe ich mich mit einem Anwalt in Verbindung gesetzt der meine Annahme bestätigte, dass es sich nicht um eine Reklamation handelt, wenn mir die Kaution nicht erstattet wird. Ich habe eine geharnischte Email an den Verleiher geschrieben und daraufhin die Kaution zurück erhalten. Ich denke das ist das "Busisness-Modell" dieser Firma darauf zu spekulieren, dass Mietern das nicht auffällt.

Habe im September über Check24 ein Mietwagen für Tunesien gebucht und dann innerhalb der Frist kostenfrei storniert. Das Geld wurde von CarHire sehr schnell abgebucht nach der Buchung. Eigentlich erwartet man, dass man das Geld auch schnell erstattet bekommt, wenn man storniert. Allerdings hat es dann 2 Monate gebraucht weil CarHire sehr lange braucht, um solche Sachen zu bearbeiten. Musste sogar denen Bild von meiner Kreditkarten abrechnung schicke, damit CarHire glaubt, dass die Geld abgebucht haben. Das ist schon meine 2 schlechte und sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit dieser Firma. Also wer keine Geld verlieren will und keinen Stress braucht - kein Business mit denen

Sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter bei Record Am Flughafen Mallorca sehr lange Wartezeit vor der Stadion von Record. Flugzeit von Deutschland nach Mallorca war kürzer.

Lässt die Kunden im Regen stehen. Verweisen bei Problemen immer an andere Stellen. Es werden keine Lösungen abgeboten.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel like a valued guest. The saloon’s interior is beautifully designed, with a mix of rustic wood and modern accents that creates a welcoming ambiance. I decided to start with their famous chili, and I was blown away by the depth of flavor! It was hearty and comforting, setting the perfect tone for the rest of my meal. For my main course, I chose the steak, which was cooked to my exact preference and seasoned to perfection. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were the icing on the cake! What really stood out was the service. My server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring I had everything I needed while also sharing her personal favorites from the menu. The live entertainment added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening, making it a delightful experience overall.

The staff, at the pick up desk and for the return of the car were professional and friendly. Thank you!

Reminders and updates.

Argus car hire cooperates with Del Paso car hire in Malaga/Spain who charged me 150€ for „special cleaning“ because there was a minor amount of sand in the car when we returned it. I’ve never experienced such a behavior with any other car rental provider. And they didn’t warn us in advance. Absolute ripoff and shady business conduct. Be careful!! Thanks for the response. Of course I opposed at Del Paso, but no answer and they still charged the money. Argus should take responsibility for choosing their business partners. The comments from customers on google about Del Paso show that they make a lot of people unhappy. I suggest Argus reconsiders their business partners or take full responsibility for such a business conduct of their partner Del Paso.
