DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid 535 Great British pounds to Argus for a car from Europcar. I was rejected due to a credit check, (a reason not even in their terms and conditions) and was told I would receive a refund within 1-2 working days. The man on the desk showed me proof of letting Argus know I haven't collected the car. After 4 days without a refund, I contacted Argus regarding the matter, and they lied denying even being contacted. After going back and fourth with Argus about this case, on their 3rd attempt of an excuse of why I didn't receive a refund was because I used a debit card to pay and not a credit card... This is not visibly shown on their website. Absolutely astonished that this is a legit company.. any organization that can take 535 GREAT BRITISH POUNDS, not receive the product and then deny a refund is a SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Could you please highlight by asking to tick a box "yes, I do have a credit card" before you sell car hire by accepting a debit card payment for non refundable (or refund charge £100 car hire)... There was also no chat available for this matter and it is not possible to get the hire car if you do not have credit card while collecting the car (credit card used for deposit purposes).

It was easy to pick up the car and the price was good. It would be helpful to be able to indicate we'd like winter tyres.

Nous avons loué un véhicule à l'aéroport de Porto appartenant à l'agence DOLLAR RENT A CAR. Dans l'ensemble, ça s'est bien passé. L'attente à l'arrivée est néanmoins trop longue. Pas loin de 30 min avant d'être servi alors que nous avions qu'une personne devant nous + le temps de la navette, au total 45min avant d'avoir la voiture. Le véhicule est lui même ça allait mais l'extérieur pas très propre

Great agent at the car hire desk

Avoid this company - they work with the worst partners. You will pay less at first but in the end it will be a nightmare and you will have paid x2/x3 Low customer service so do not expect having a good support when having a problem - they will find other reasons not to reimburse you what they have to

Finger weg von so einem Laden. Vermitteln Vermieter, wie GoldCar, die dann am Schalter 7.000 € Kaution verlangen. Weil man diese nicht bieten kann, ist man gezwungen eine Zusatzversicherung für 250 € abzuschließen. Im Nachgang ist keiner Zuständig und alles wird pauschal beantwortet. Finger weg!!! Lieber eine ordentliche Vermietung wählen.

Everything was great. We just had to make a service and we tried to call them but nobody answered. Fortunately coming back from Adelaide we went back to the Melbourne airport and they gave it to us with no problems.
