Argus Car Hire

Picking up the car at Alicante was hassle free. The signage showing where the desk was in the airport was easy to follow, taking the stress out getting the car after the flight. Conversely on dropping the car off at the airport after the holiday was equally as easy as there was very good signage showing clearly where you needed to go from the approach road all the way to the drop off desk. All the staff were polite and helpful, the car was clean and a pleasure to drive, all in all an extremely pleasant experience.

Alles vorher bezahlt. Es fand keine Übergabe statt da Vorort Verständigungsprobleme ( Marrakesch ) waren. Kein Fahrzeug bekommen, Geld futsch, Rückforderung des Geldes wurde nicht anerkannt, da das Fahrzeug angeblich übergeben wurde ( fragt sich nur an wen ). Es würde unsagbar teuer werden sowas vor Gericht einzuklagen da der Hauptsitz von Argus Irland ist. Meines Erachtens, Finger weg von diesem Vermittler. Ich und mein Bekanntenkreis werden niemals wieder etwas über diesen Verein buchen !

Booked online following my car breaking down. Called Drivalia who were the supplier, asked whether it would be ok to pick up from Motorvogue Norwich rather than Norwich airport at 4pm the previous night. Her words were ‘there’s no point in you going to the airport for us to have to pick you up as the car will be here!’ (Seemed annoyed but that’s what I needed to know). Booked a taxi (£9) as my car was unusable (hence the need for car hire). Arrive at 8am the designated time. Bloke working in Motorvogue (not Drivalia I hasten to add as the desk was unmanned) had an amused look on his face, fiddled on the computer and while doing so said there’s none available. I said ‘but I’ve booked and paid for it’, he said sorry there’s none, can do next week. I was apoplectic, I had patients to see in Yarmouth. He then told me this happens a lot and I asked him to feedback to his managers. I had to get the bus back and cancel my appointments with vulnerable people. Avoid them like the plague and NEVER use third party websites!!

Location en février au Portugal, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une voiture neuve. Le tarif est attractif. Par contre malgré que nous avions pris l'assurance lors de la réservation sur le site, la personne a lourdement insisté pour que nous reprenions une autre assurance justifiant que certaines choses n'était pas comprises. En fait leur assurance, permet de ne pas avancer les frais. Il serait peut-être intéressant de le préciser lors de la location et laisser le choix dès la réservation. Ça éviterait de devoir se prendre la tête avec la personne lors du retrait. D'autant plus que cela fait plusieurs fois que cela nous arrive lors d'une location de voiture.

Awful company avoid at all cost. I arranged a hire car and when I went to collect the car was told that it had been damaged and they had no car for us, only a 7 seater minibus, which was not at all suitable ( arranged for a small car) the girl at the desk said no problem at all and that she would cancel the booking and make sure it was noted as the fault st their end. I since got charged in full and when I went onto live chat was told that the booking just showed as confirmed, nothing cancelled and was told to raise a complaint which would take 20 plus days. Then the conversation was dead despite me trying to talk further about it. Disgusting

They are basically just thieves. They refused to refund me even though Europcar had already reimbursed them because they couldn’t provide me with a car. Their response? Pure arrogance, something like : "And what are you gonna do, sue me for 400 euros? Haha." Avoid shady companies like this and stick to reputable American ones. (just in case here's what happened : europcar didn't have any car left for me so they pretexted my licence was not valid, while it was. Europcar refunded argus, and argus kept the money ans refused to give it back to me. After multiple exchange they found the trick: I didn't have an international licence, even though I'm in my own country)

Booked a car to pick up at 12 pm. Customer service said station was open until 8pm. Arrived at 12:05pm and station was closed. No car and no refund. Apsolute scam.

Please don't book!!! My flight was delayed and there was no car available for me. Now they don't want to transfer my money back

They are a total scam. Never book from this website. Even when the car company canceled our booking, they never refunded our booking fee (that was 108$ in Glasgow airport). You should book directly with the car company. These car agents are just to scam other people's money. They never did provide any service.
