Selling items they don't have in stock

I ordered an item from this organization which mentioned July 10 as delivery - I've just spoken to these people and they have told me they don't have even the item in stock in Victoria so are advertising appliances they don't have and I now don't know when this item will be available or delivered in Victoria - they offered me the same item to be POSTED though I requested my old item of exactly the same product be collected for recycle so how is an Aust Post delivery going to achieve that - now I wait and watch for a "couple" of weeks until the item is in stock in Victoria. Very misleading and poor customer service should have gone retail.

Great to shop & deal with

We have now got several large household white-goods from Appliances Online. Have purchased via the website & on the phone when using their price matching offer. Really excellent to deal with. The delivery service is first rate keeping you up-to-date with the delivery status and arrival date/time. Plus taking away the old one is just great. In one case I had to make a warranty claim - again it was no hassle, excellent to deal with and they sorted the problem out for me. Highly recommended to deal with. We will do so again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the Oliveri brand kitchen tap, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased their supposedly high-quality, expensive kitchen tap, believing that I was making an investment in a durable and reliable product. However, the reality turned out to be a complete disappointment. Shortly after the installation, I noticed that the tap was leaking. Not just a small drip, mind you, but a constant and irritating stream of water that would not stop. I immediately contacted Oliveri's customer support to inquire about their warranty and get this issue resolved. To my shock and dismay, I was met with a level of indifference and incompetence that is simply unacceptable. Oliveri, a company that markets itself as a provider of premium kitchen fixtures, completely failed to stand behind its product. Despite their so-called warranty, they refused to honor it for the leaking tap. Their customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive, leaving me feeling like I had been swindled into purchasing a subpar product. The leaking tap not only resulted in a significant waste of water but also caused potential damage to my kitchen. I had to resort to hiring a professional plumber to fix the issue, incurring additional costs that should have been covered under the warranty. I would strongly advise anyone considering an Oliveri brand kitchen tap to think twice. Not only did their product fail in terms of quality, but their after-sales support was nothing short of abysmal. To address the issue, I contacted your customer service team, and you promptly provided a replacement for the faulty tap. However, I was informed that the plumber's fee of $374.00, which I had to pay to install the replacement tap and address the initial issue, would not be reimbursed. I believe it is fair to request reimbursement for the plumber's fee, as the issue originated from a defect in the tap, which caused extensive damage to my property. Poor service if your item is faulty

Amazing service unless you are supplied with a faulty product, I purchased a dishwasher that is faulty. After a service repair order was lodged a few days later I received an email to contact your team to arrange a replacement or refund. The item I have purchased is no longer in stock, The only comparable item that you have in stock incurs a $192 difference which is payable from myself. I don't feel it's fair that as a consumer that we need to pay extra to replace a faulty item's. We put our trust investing in items from your company and expect an item that is in full working order. If there is a fault with that item, that is not a consumer error within the first year of purchase that your company would live up to your legendary service, and replace the item with no out of pocket expense to us. Clearly, customer satisfaction isn't a high priority.

Very poor experience

I ordered a vacuum and unfortunately missed the delivery for it. I called up to reorganise the delivery and was told that I can rebook it for the following Saturday and change the address and he said this was fine and that he rebooked it. The Saturday it was supposed to be delivered it wasn't so I called again and asked what had happened. The girl (who was amazingly helpful) said that there was never any changes made or anything booked in from my last phone call and that there was actually a cost for Saturday delivery. I was happy to pay this cost, despite being told it was already booked in last time. This was processed to be delivered the next Saturday. On the Thursday before delivery, I missed a call and received a text saying there was a delay to my order and to call back. I called back and was told that there were no notes on my file and that my delivery was still scheduled for that Saturday. The Saturday came and no delivery, so I called up for a refund because I couldn't wait 3 weeks for a vacuum and was told my refund would be processed. 4 days after this I got an email saying my vacuum would be delivered on the Saturday. On the Saturday morning I got a text saying a delivery window so I called up and said I hadn't received my refund and that vacuum was still coming, the girl processed the refund for me (which finally actually happened) and then said she called the delivery person to make sure the vacuum wouldn't be delivered. The vacuum still was attempted to be delivered. I have never bought off a company that got so many things wrong at every step of the way.

I had 2 major delieveries for my move into a new apartment, one was a fridge from Appliances Online value was $900 and another from Ikea also value $900. Ikea refused to even deliver the boxes to the front door of the building let alone to my own apartment door on Level 5 via the lift. Ikea charged me $59 for this service. Appliances Online delivered the fridge directly to my door, removed the packaging, installed the fridge and took packaging away. Appliances Online charges nothing for this service. suffice to say, Appliances Online kicks it out the park and Ikea needs a wake up call.

Amazing service 10/10

Amazing service 10/10. Online support are so helpful. And the website is very easy to use, and being able to pick the delivery date made everything so convenient for me. The delivery staff keeped me in the loop for delivery and were very friendly. And told me if i have any issues to let them know and they would come back. I didn't have any issues so im very happy.

A one star rating is not even close to…

A one star rating is not even close to the service I just received. The sad part is, I have always purchased all my items, just as my family, through appliances online..but will NEVER do so again. It all started well with a sales cal with Kurt. Ordered my dishwasher and added installation cost, and delivery with instal was booked for the 14/9. Received an email that morning to say the install would occur between 12 and 2 pm. It got to 3pm so I called them. Was advised they could not get hold of installers and were trying their private mobile numbers and had no idea what was going on and that they would call me back. No call. Got to 5 pm I called and spoke with Cal, who advised he was very sorry and said this was not good on behalf of the company and said he would get this sorted and that I would be compensated. He said there was a note on system stating installer said he called me to confirm and that I had told him the day was inconvenient and cancelled. This was a blatant lie! I had put off a doctors appt for this and have a record of all calls! He said he would try to get job booked in for Monday as Friday had already filled up, but would call me first thing Friday morning to confirm. No call. It took another 5 calls, speaking with Chloe, Sam, Ruby, and Albert, who had all said it would occur Monday and to wait for morning text with delivery time. Today arrived and no call or text. So again I called and spoke with David this morning who told me that it was booked for Wednesday. I told him I had already advised all other staff we would be away and this wouldn’t work, and was basically told there was nothing he could do. All staff sounded busy, and pressured. I wasn’t going to deal with more date changes and lies so I told David to cancel the entire sale and that I wanted a refund. I can’t complain about the staff, they were all courteous and did their best..but this was an absolute joke. So basically all customers who booked after me could get their installs first and I just had to wait, ….logic would be putting their older orders first and getting them off the books. This clearly isn’t just happening to me and this is why my review today! When a company is holding a customers money for this period of time, they are obligated to provide the service and or product in the time agreed. Maybe after the customers start depleting, Appliances Online will realize that SERVICE is actually the key to keeping customers.
