A one star rating is not even close to…
A one star rating is not even close to the service I just received. The sad part is, I have always purchased all my items, just as my family, through appliances online..but will NEVER do so again. It all started well with a sales cal with Kurt. Ordered my dishwasher and added installation cost, and delivery with instal was booked for the 14/9. Received an email that morning to say the install would occur between 12 and 2 pm. It got to 3pm so I called them. Was advised they could not get hold of installers and were trying their private mobile numbers and had no idea what was going on and that they would call me back. No call. Got to 5 pm I called and spoke with Cal, who advised he was very sorry and said this was not good on behalf of the company and said he would get this sorted and that I would be compensated. He said there was a note on system stating installer said he called me to confirm and that I had told him the day was inconvenient and cancelled. This was a blatant lie! I had put off a doctors appt for this and have a record of all calls! He said he would try to get job booked in for Monday as Friday had already filled up, but would call me first thing Friday morning to confirm. No call. It took another 5 calls, speaking with Chloe, Sam, Ruby, and Albert, who had all said it would occur Monday and to wait for morning text with delivery time. Today arrived and no call or text. So again I called and spoke with David this morning who told me that it was booked for Wednesday. I told him I had already advised all other staff we would be away and this wouldn’t work, and was basically told there was nothing he could do. All staff sounded busy, and pressured. I wasn’t going to deal with more date changes and lies so I told David to cancel the entire sale and that I wanted a refund. I can’t complain about the staff, they were all courteous and did their best..but this was an absolute joke. So basically all customers who booked after me could get their installs first and I just had to wait, ….logic would be putting their older orders first and getting them off the books. This clearly isn’t just happening to me and this is why my review today! When a company is holding a customers money for this period of time, they are obligated to provide the service and or product in the time agreed. Maybe after the customers start depleting, Appliances Online will realize that SERVICE is actually the key to keeping customers.
