Alexus Christley and her team were very professional since the first day I contact her for a project. It has been a pleasure to work with ALTA Lang and recommend them.
Overall, the delivered product met our needs. The timeline was delayed after the project was started, which was disappointing as I stressed the importance of the quick turnaround in my request. Though the translated materials were completed successfully, just not in the timeline I expected. I understand sometimes these things happen and the proposal met our needs and this helped our project success.

SHAME ON YOU ALTA!!! I want to share my experience so that anyone experiencing this has some sort of point of reference and support and not think is their fault or that they did something wrong and lose confidence in their skills and abilities. I was tested by Alta twice on my native language (mind you), on behalf of a company I applied for, and I failed. I PASSED THE TESTS ON 2 OTHER DIFERENT FOREIGN LANGUAGES (THAT ARE NOT NATIVE TO ME) BUT FAILED MY OWN when I am NATIVE - BORN AND RAISED, I've done all the schooling there is in that country: pre-k, kindergarten, primary, secondary, high school, college. I spent 24 years in that country and even went and got a master's degree in there, and somehow, I failed the reading test in that language, but magically pass in languages that aren't even native to me... Contemplate on that for a little bit and judge for yourselves how competent and reliable they are when it comes to testing (especially when other companies rely on them to test potential new hires). I tried contacting them, but these people are impossible to reach, I have done everything I could to explain, and THEY DO NOT CARE. I drained myself insisting and begging to get to speak to someone - forget about it. I wasted weeks (spending the time and energy taking all the tests in 3 different languages (Reading, Speaking, Writing) trying to get this job (on behalf on which I was tested for) and DID NOT GET IT all because of Alta!!! I found out eventually from the company that wanted to hire me that 10 of 25 questions of my Reading test were left unanswered - which of course in reality (on my end) never happened. I answered each and every one of them thoroughly EACH TIME I took the test (I took the Reading test twice and TWICE I FAILED). I brought it to everyone's attention (whichever email addresses I could get) that they have an issue, that there is something wrong in there and they do not care, they do not want to look into it, they do not want to fix it. Now imagine people not being able to get a job because of them, and worse, losing their credibility and reputation in front of everybody. Can you imagine how invested I was at this point along the way with the hiring process and everything....and they COMPLETELY IGNORE ME. I spoke to everyone about this incident, people that have at least a masters if not a PHD and they are all in shock and think this is a complete joke. I would honestly sue them. If someone is reading this and wants to talk to me about it, 5018022547 is my number.
A terrific company to work with and a great responsive team. My organization regularly needs translation services and occasionally also has to test for language proficiency, and in both service requests, ALTA regularly excels. They provide very quick translation of all needed documents and resources in an affordable fashion and their over the phone testing service is fabulous from a human resources standpoint with results turned around in as little 24 hours quite often. I can't recommend them enough!
What made my experience 5 star was the Project Coordinator I worked with, Marcus Rummell. I spoke to him via telephone on my initial contact with ALTA and emailed back & forth with him for the duration. He was first and foremost, professional, friendly, and fast, returning all correspondence within a matter of minutes. I did not have to wait a day or a week for a response of any sort. Marcus went above and beyond. For example, I had a couple follow up questions, which were answered as quickly as possible. I was really impressed because we needed the translation done as soon as possible and it was. I can't forget to mention the translator, who had the translation done as quick as possible.
While ALTA's translation services were a little more $$ than other service providers, we chose them to handle translating a legal document because 1) we received assistance by a live person from the start, not via online form submission, 2) transparency of fees, 3) excellent, excellent communication and customer service, and 4) this all gave us confidence in the services they provided and confidence they will be available in the future for any questions we may have.
Wonderful, professional, reasonable. I am a writer and have to interview many different people. I would never have guessed this service would work so well.

I truly enjoy working with Jason and the ALTA team for translation work. They are thorough and explain things very well!
The translations were all accurate as far as we could tell, but some of them ended up in the wrong place on our file, which caused some confusion on our end. We also were told that it would be 1-2 business days for the estimated time for completion, but the full translations were not completed within that time frame, which caused some issues related to the deadline of our project. There was also a lack of communication ahead of time around one of the language's ability to be translated due to a national holiday that was coming up in the translators' country, which impacted the turnaround time. Finally, there was a lack of communication about our representative's PTO ahead of time which interrupted our deadline as well.
The session was very succesful.

Lightning-speed answers via email. Set-up was confusing, so I asked for help and they DID IT FOR ME! FAST results for language tests.
