I was enticed to transfer to Alinta by a particular FIT. The FIT shown in my welcome pack was less than this.
Hannah was lovely to deal with and extremely friendly and helpful.

I have spent over 30 minutes just tried to add an contact on the account, after on hold for few time few minutes each, I only can do a paper form to add the new contact. and even I cannot get the Alinta Engery account number from the telephone operator, so bad.

I am very happy with how easy the process was to get connected to Alinta Energy and I have also found the Alinta app very easy and straight forward to use. The communication between Alinta and myself was 1st rate and the plan is also extremely good

The person I was speaking with was very, very patient and helped me answer all the questions, one by one, he explained all the questions and what they meant. I feel your company is doing a great job at training your staff to deal with a pensioner like me , who finds it a little difficult to navigate the phone way to do everything.
Alinta has been one of the worst energy companies I have ever had to deal with. Issued a bill for $41 for six days of energy supply. Wrongly informed me that a payment was overdue on 12th March, demanded payment, when the bill issued clearly states the due date as the 26th of March. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Terrible customer service and never admit the fault and pass the cost back to client.

Extremely disappointed with Alinta Energy. The initial discrepancies between the advertised prices and the actual charges were misleading. Then a month after joining, they changed prices, blatantly disregarding their initial rates with a 'too bad, so sad' attitude and terrible customer service! Unhelp and dismissive customer service who had no interest in actually dealing with any concerns about transparency nor fairness. When a company changes their T&C's to disadvantage customers, it's obvious that they care more about profits than anything else. Profits that go overseas to their the wholly owned HK parent. I wouldn’t recommend Alinta Energy to anyone looking for a reliable, honest energy provider. But if you're after a company that hides behind unfair practices and doesn’t care about fairness, they might be the one for you.
