Excellent value for money.

Don't know how they do it for what they charge! From pick-up thru' transfer to arrival, all was highly efficient & professional. You don't touch your cases after pick-up until they're delivered outside your hotel room. Tours excellent as was the driver's knowledge of the destinations.

Tim, our driver was lovely and an EXCELLENT driver. The hotel was very good; the food was great the beds were very comfortable, the staff were really helpful, efficient and very friendly. The entertainment was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the trips and will definitely be using your company again.

1 star as the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were hard working and polite How would you fancy a New Year trip where there were no games as promised. The music was poor, the singers average and no party atmosphere. Row upon row of miserable OAPs no dancing. It was more like an old folks home than a happy event and celebration. Many complained. We did to the company customer services. They told us that we were wrong, that the room wasn't overcrowded. We were wrong that the vegetables with the meals were not tinned or frozen. Waste of time. There's better tour companies out there don't waste your time with Alfa In reply to your message, your emails agreed that the entertainment was not acceptable after many complaints. It was not just us that put poor comments on the questionnaires at the end of the trip. A Clever but failed attempt at your manipulation of our review, to try put the impression we as a group of 8 were whining unnecessarily. Sadly this will back fire as people realise how problematic the customer services are to deal with Sadly the latest replies from the company continue to be patronising and without care. What should have been a memorable celebration, was spoilt by the lack of decent entertainment. If a risk assessment was carried out, it would have had to address the amount of older geriatrics people, many physically restricted, some with walking aids sat compact in a small room. Should an emergency have occured it could have been tragic, but they are still refusing to accept there was a problem. Many at the venue agreed with our findings. So Alfa management and customer care would prefer to ignore this and pacify with a few condescending words

Such friendly staff & team players. Nothing too much trouble for them, also didn't hear any client grumble about anything

Hotel very clean. Hot well cooked and presented food. All staff friendly and hard working. The only slight niggle was our coach driver, Jed, who hardly spoke and gave very little information. Perhaps he was new and unexperienced. His driving was good and coach clean and comfortable.

Great holiday, driver, hotel, excursions, all lovely and great value too

Fabulous driver Chris made our holiday with his unlimited information, jokes and stories. Staff at hotel where really friendly, food good. Entertainment and 1/2 price evening bar were a definite bonus. Really well organised break

Fantastic holiday with friends .Staff were excellent, food superb .Entertainment on some nights could have been better .Hotel could do with a bit of an update ,but generally OK.Our coach driver was not very informative, would have liked him to point out places of interest en route.Will definitely travel with Alfa again

Well we are going to Blackpool again with Alfa ,good food good staff good rooms ,been going with them over 15 years now ,still looking forward to going we are going because sadly my sister passed away at Christmas 2024 she loved going to the shoe shop around the corner ,so we’re going to remember her and have a great holiday with Alfa

I purchased Alfa travel through top cash back on 3 Oct 2024. The travel finished on 1st Nov 2024. But I didn't get the promised cash back until today 15.1.2025. I have contacted the customer service of Top Cash Back for several times. They said that they have to wait for Alfa's response. I have the previous experience before. I have to raise question to customer service of Top Cash Back for a long time until I get my cash back. Unfortunately, things happen again. I hope I can get my cash back.

Twixmas at Bridlington - Monarch Hotel and Staff were marvellous. Good food, Lovely place. Our feeder coach driver needed a refresher course on how to drive and not speed. The tour driver even though we were not late was driving very fast in the fog, hit the kerb 3 times, did not speak to us or give out any safety information. The coach was absolutely filthy as it was a school bus and had not been cleaned inside. I travel with Alfa every twixmas and this was the worst journey and the most dirty coach I have ever experienced. Not up to your usual standard

15 years after losing my father I eventually convinced my mother to book a solo trip. She chose Tenby as we spent many happy years there previous as a family. I helped her chose the holiday & Alfa travel seemed to be a reputable company to put mum at ease for her first solo experience. She booked the holiday for May 2025 & duly paid the deposit plus the peace of mind insurance policy. Sadly mum suffered a massive stroke on New Years Eve & passed away a couple of days later. As next of Kin & Executor of my mums affairs I contacted Alfa to cancel the holiday on my mums behalf expecting to have the money reimbursed but they refused saying that ‘ we are asked several times each day for charges to be waived for various upsetting circumstances of the same or similar nature to your own’ & that no refund is due. I could understand if it was short notice where the holiday perhaps couldn’t be resold but over 5 months to go in my eyes gives more than adequate time to re sell. It’s not the money but the complete lack of empathy & understanding of the situation that I find upsetting. Perhaps bear this in mind when considering using Alfa for your next vacation.

The journey down to Bournemouth was long but comfortable with a clean coach and two comfort breaks. Interchange at Birchwood was very busy with all coach coming in so No seats available in service station and long queues. Hotel lovely had a beautiful room with a view over looking the grounds with fountain and could see swimming pool from the French doors in the room we occupied. Room serviced everyday and restocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Dinning room service was excellent serving nicely presented good food our waiter was pleasant polite and very efficient. Hotel was decorated for new year with entertainment a buffet at midnight with champagne toast. The only down fall was the entailment room was not big enough to accommodate all the guest. This caused a problem with fire exits blocked by chairs drinks being knocked over and people having to move to allow people with walking frames and walk-in aids to pass which is causing a health and safety problem say that I would highly recommend this hotel the management team were great.

We spent new years in Newquay at the Oliver hotel. An enormous thanks to the chefs at the hotel. Best food ever in this hotel usually the food is so so in other alpha hotels but these chef's brilliant. Please send them to the other hotels as teachers. The Oliver is a great hotel all staff to be congratulated

Our driver, Dominic, made the long journey to and from Ilfracombe very enjoyable, and such a great entertainer too. We stayed in The Imperial Hotel, and had a fabulous big, sea view room, meals were amazing and excellent service from all the staff.
