I booked a car from AERCAR pathos. There was no problem booking online I had payed a deposit and already arranged the insurance (full package) When I got there there was new insurance information I did not know about. I’d already chosen full insurance package online but they gave me 3 options, one being pay €50 to be covered, second option was pay €800 and receive it back when dropping the car back and I forgot the third option but I had already agreed insurance on the online contract, I went with the €800 payment option which will be returned as long as you follow the instructions provided at the desk if there are any problems. I was advised I should take pictures of the car for prof of any damages which they all do. The car was covered in dents, cracks and this included a part lose rear bumper. Due to the fact I had paid €800 I took 2 full walk round videos of all the damages and panels of the car. I also decided to only use the car for the two long road trips to my destination and back, as well as two small shopping trips as I was now uncomfortable using the car that was damaged so bad on the chance of losing €800 . When I returned to have the car inspected straight away they said they noticed a crack on the back bumper had I taken any pictures. I showed them the video of the lose clip on the back bumper which was unlined and of the crack they claimed was new which was clearly faded and showed it was old and discoloured. I was then told okay you can have your €800 back but if I had no video evidence I would of been €800 out of pocket so if advise to steer clear as it seems pretty obvious this is a way they make extra income as the car was a bucket. They sent a message for reviews and I think I was a bit to nice with my ratings now I’ve read all the other comments on here. The shuttle bus drivers were great to talk to and very helpful though. A very unpleasant experience.
I was provided with an old Ford Focus estate that was in poor condition with 65,000 km on the clock. When getting the car there were warning lights on the dash and I was told “thats ok” and to ignore them when I questioned this. Overall the collection was quick and easy and that was the last of the good things with AerCar. The air conditioning was worse than anything I have experienced, dropped the internal temperature a few degrees but only when on absolutely full power. Made the driving during the day quite miserable and uncomfortable and you could not talk to anyone in the car over the noise of the fan and air conditioning. I had a blow out at night, which destroyed a tire that needed replacing and I was then charged for as I was told “you destroyed the tire”. Complete sidewall blowout and delamination of the tread from the carcass…..Never mind the fact that the spare tire was also flat, the wheel spanner was not the correct size and there was no jack in the car. Making a relatively straight forward wheel replacement a 90 minute exercise sitting in the dark on the side of the road waiting for a rescue vehicle to get to me. I was then responsible for getting the tire replaced. Great way to waste several hours of my holiday. Credit to the rescue team and Lagrome Trading for getting to me relatively quickly considering the area I was stranded in and then tire replacement in the morning. They were exceptional but only because they had nothing apart from an AerCar account to do the work. Poor maintenance of the vehicle provided and the lack of working tire sensors in the car further confirm this for me, they may have prevented the blowout as a fault would potentially have been raised before the blowout. When changing the tire it was clear this wheel had not been removed for some time, the corrosion between the wheel and the hub required an excessive amount of force to separate the two from each other, a 2ton rachet strap and rubber mallet the only thing to do this on the side of the road against the Armco barrier. The jack and tire spanner would have been useless on their own without the fully kitted rescue vehicle. I would love to see the service records as from the wheel change experience I don’t believe had gone through any maintenance or MOT equivalent anytime. Poor quality vehicle, lacking basics required ie Jack/tire spanner/inflated spare wheel, questionable road worthiness. I will not be using Aercar again and will go further to recommend to anyone not to use them.
We use their cars many times. Fair and decent. good value for your money.

I understand some reviews are bad, but my experience was great. The staff was polite and quick to answer the phone. Pickup and drop-off were fast and simple. The car was a little bit underpowered and scratched all over, but it was clean, and everything was working great, especially the AC. I booked through discovercars.com with their full insurance. At the AERCAR desk I just presented the voucher and in a few minutes received my car, without any additional charge.

Easy booking (via booking.com) and free shuttle service provided from the airport to their depot (approx 5-10min drive). Our flight times changes and they were very flexible and very accomodating. Paperwork was quick and easy and staff were friendly. We hired a nissan note which was spotlessly clean and fuel efficient. Would definitely book again.

1st car broke down at 4am. Took over 4 hours to get it sorted. 2nd car AC wasn't working well in 40c + summer weather. When I finally finished with the rental and raised my concern owner complaied I woke him up at 4am when I called in the emergency number listed on contract and that he thinks I drained battery by leaving lights on. Staff didn't care much either tbh. As if this is normal for them. This was my experience and will never go there again even if they offered me a free car. Rent here at your own risk.

Dreadful company. Car full of dents and dirty inside. Attempted to charge us for changing a tyre as said it was our driving. Said we would lose our 1350E deposit if we didn’t pay. Rep at Paphos rude, threatening and aggressive. Said we could wait all day and would not get money back. Phoned company and money returned. Don’t go near them. Get 1 star as no minus is available.

Service was great. Car collection and return was easy. We purchased the full insurance so didn’t need to leave any deposit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative is bus transfer required at Paphos airport and this wasn’t clear. I think they should give better details in confirmation email as we walked around the airport car park trying to figure out where to wait. Also they should let you rent a car for just one day but minimum rental was 2 days. Would recommend though and would use again.

My experience with Aerocar was a disappointment. The pick-up at Paphos Airport was confusing, with a number of us wandering around in the carpark trying to find the Pickup Point. There was no one to greet us on leaving the baggage reclaim. Eventually, we discovered a courtesy van down left of the airport frontage. On arrival at the depot, after a long day and arrival in the dark at 10:00pm, we were given a friendly greeting but give confusing, ambiguous information on the insurance cover. Having been ‘worried’ by this doubt we reluctantly agreed to pay an extra €120 for extra insurance. The car heater did not work, I called into the depot mid week, where no solution was found. So, I resolved never to use this company again. Reporting this easyJet with whom we had booked. Aercar Rentals say on their website that all feedback positive or negative will be uploaded, however, my feedback has never appeared!

Horrible or company. Booked through Larnacaairport.org and was basically sold a lie. Car was not in terminal, had to take a bus. Then when I arrived all these other extra expenses started appearing. I was so tired after a long flight so asked to cancel and went to book with another company who better had their act together. I was told it was fine and I would get a refund -it turns out not. No refund after filing paperwork. Thieves!

I had made an error with my pickup time which meant that we were late to pick it up. They not only charged us a whole EXTRA day, but said that we had to upgrade the car also for no understandable reason. We had to pay almost 100 euros extra just to keep our booking even though we had the car for less time than booked. The man on the phone was extremely rude, blunt and unhelpful. He kept saying things like "I'm giving you the option here" despite the other option being not taking the car at all and paying full price for nothing. The car they gave us was NOT upgraded, however it satisfactory despite being quite scratched. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because when we dropped the car off the staff (a south African couple) were nice and helpful. That part of the process was smooth and we were dropped to the airport in good time. I would avoid renting from here again on account of the attitude of the man who modified my booking, and made the start to our holiday extremely stressful.

Scammers Do not use, firstly ordered my Toyota Corolla on line 48 hours prior got to office and it was over 10 years old yet the photo shows a new car, then they tried to get another €100 for insurance but I’d already got cover then having to pay €1200 euros deposit when I returned the vehicle they then returned my monies €100 shy of my deposit saying it was an exchange charge which is utter crap be warned be very careful

Добрый день. Бронировал автомобиль у прокатной фирмы AERCAR. Оформляла меня сотрудница данной прокатной фирмы. В процессе оформления ней была допущена ошибка, это как я уже сейчас понимаю. Вместо заморозки 1000 евро на карте, она их списала. Нас об этом не уведомив, просто кричала мама мия и хваталась за голову, со своим коллегой она перешла на греческий язык, чтобы я ничего не понял. Потом звонила куда то и называла мою фамилию. На мой вопрос что произошло, ответила что все ок. После возврата авто залог был возвращен, но транзакция произошла не сразу и претензии на месте я предъявить не смог. В результате данной ошибки, что деньги были не заморожены (как было указано в ваучере), а списаны, я потерял сумму 1073,29 грн в переводе на курс евро приблизительно 33 евро. При том что бронь на 4 дня стоила порядка 80 евро.
