The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Shocking company…don’t go near it

Shocking company…don’t go near it. It’s cheap for a reason! Trying to buy a “membership” after my current one ran out and nothing happening…no idea if it’s in a queue or what is going on. Atrocious service…STAY AWAY!

Not worth the money you save

Worst experience I have ever had with a service provider. I use it mostly for data. When my limited 100GB bundle ran out I purchased unlimited. However, I was not allowed to use the unlimited bundle until the monthly-period for my 100GB bundle ran out. When I contacted them and asked to start the 1 month unlimited bundle I paid for early they could not activate it. I was told I had to wait for support for a week but by then my bundle would have started already. The only other option they left me with was paying €3 per GB which would have costed my €30 euros. Another problem I faced was when I didn't have a bundle, I topped up with credit so that I can make a call however they don't let you call without having a bundle. That is another €10s wasted because you cannot use it for calling without a bundle. However, with a bundle you have unlimited calls so its completely pointless. I topped up a few days before my bundle ended and the payment went through. After my bundle has ended I found that I didn't get the bundle I paid for. Now I have spent the last hour trying to get it sorted because their customer service is awful. Save yourself the trouble. Its not worth the extra euros you save.

Not a proper mobile service

Not a proper mobile service. More like a play thing someone setup to generate cash but has no interest in supporting or improving. Was in northern Ireland this week with no service. When switching from automatic to manual network selection you could see why. All networks had "Forbidden" beside their name. 48 is only for those that don't really need a service all of the time. Anything out of the basic is just not available. Example: being able to text the short Go loud cash machine 5xxxx number - not a chance.

My 48 is great value but only if you stay home…

My 48 is great value but only if you never leave the country. I was hopeful when they issued new sim cards which were promised to improve the service abroad but I have travelled 3 times since then & it has failed to do so everytime. In the UK a couple of weeks ago I could not get google maps to find my accommodation which made me miss an appointment & for the 4 days I could never pick up a network despite going thru their instructions a hundred or more times. In this day & age you need to have access to the internet as soon as you get off the plane & everything thereafter. I have no choice now only to switch providers so reluctantly I have to say goodbye. Hello Vodafone

Not fit for purpose

Not fit for purpose. My item was is stuck in Preston and has been for last 2 days. Waited 20 mins on phone to complain, they said I have to wait a further 8 days before I can complain.

Aweful service

Aweful service. The website is broken, no button or option to use the chatbot. No email or phone contact. They are simply unreachable - no wonder that they don't want to be reached by so called customers. My particular problem, each time I want to renew my "membership" it also requires me to pay the already paid activation fee again, despite already having an active SIM and membership in the past. I found this out because automatic renewal failed despite having a valid credit card on record. I wanted to contact support but how? Anyways, I left for another provider.
