Shocking. If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I've not even used this company yet and I've already wasted hours trying to register on their portal. They only appear to have one phone number. You spend ages going through security questions to get through to an agent who then pops you back into the queue and have to go through the whole process again. Then you get a recorded message saying wait times are zero minutes. This is the 7th time I've tried to get through and I've currently been on hold for 45 minutes. Avoid !

You are a reactive and not pro active…

You are a reactive and not pro active company. There was no dedicated person for my case, It took far too long to get completed so i have had to pay the expensive monthly floating interest rate for over 2 months at 9% !!

Highly recommend this service and easy to use

Fantastic legal team and really good at communicating throughout the whole mortgage process. Thank you! I would highly recommend and virgin mortgages have also been excellent and speedy.

Terrible

6 months into a remortgage and still not completed. If your case is classed as complex then your file won't get looked at for minimum 10 working days. Complex case is basically every but or sell of a property, and I'm not even doing that. Very rarely get updates through the portal. Had to resend a mortgage deed over because the old one was incorrect, 14 days later it still hasn't ever been looked at. And being told it won't get looked at til next week. Never complained or wrote any review in my life, but this company have broke me. Absolute nightmare. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra money through a smaller independent solicitors. Biggest regret of mine.

Great to deal with

I was assigned Optima by the remortgage bank. After searching for a phone number & finding them with 65 reviews, all 1 star, I was a bit nervous. But contrary to the experience of those other reviewers, they were brilliant for me. There had been a delay with the bank which meant Optima then had very little time to push through the funds for me so I could complete my house purchase. They were very helpful on the phone & I got emails to notify me for each update, & the funds were in my account by 11am on the day of completion. Thankyou.

Avoid if you can or prepare to loose ££ thousands

Awful and incompetent. Who are the people with good reviews? I would really like to meet them. Slow in responding, I have now lost thousand pounds to do simple remortgaging and I am about to cancel my deal with Lloyds bank as I simply cannot and will not loose more cash due to the abysmal service. Every time you want to speak to someone the answer is always the same- I will note your comments, it's due to be reviewed by case handler. Never hear back from anyone. How can a simple remortgage take 2 months is beyond me. I will formally complain and will report them to Ombudsman.

Gosh where to start...

Gosh where to start... Issues with them retrieving the mortgage redemption statement. They kept requesting from the bank, the bank sent, they failed to notice they had sent it. Whenever you call you get put on a 24 hour call back because there getting to many calls. No checks done on the property after having the case for two months, All in all, very slow progress, lack of communication, poor customer services and ultimately it cost me thousands due to falling onto my variable rate. Plus then having to pay them a fee for the work completed.
