If I could give zero stars I would. I've not even used this company yet and I've already wasted hours trying to register on their portal. They only appear to have one phone number. You spend ages going through security questions to get through to an agent who then pops you back into the queue and have to go through the whole process again. Then you get a recorded message saying wait times are zero minutes. This is the 7th time I've tried to get through and I've currently been on hold for 45 minutes. Avoid !
It is incredible how quick the whole process took without pestering me too much questions or work to do.

You are a reactive and not pro active company. There was no dedicated person for my case, It took far too long to get completed so i have had to pay the expensive monthly floating interest rate for over 2 months at 9% !!

Optima Legal assisted me greatly in my remortgage. There customer service was great and supported me respectively. The portal used by Optima Legal was easy and transparent and provided me the information I needed to proceed my remortgage application to completion. I am very happy with the service provided.
The slowest solicitors I have ever dealt with. They take between 7-10 days between each review and come up with something else to do, or sign or confirm each time. My mortgage offer went back to being primarily because they took so long. If your bank says they are going to be using them for a remortgage. I'd strongly suggest you decline.
Awful, avoid at all costs. Despite getting ready for a re mortgage 4 months in advance, and being told with 2 weeks to go everything is in place.....complete lie. They hadnt even applied for the documents they needed. When questioned after spending every day on the phone and getting nowhere, we found out through the mortgage companies that they applied with 1 day to go to completetion. We missed the change over period to new mortgage by 2 weeks. Had to pay £1100 in extra costs and we had 2 x repayments returned from our previous mortgage provider as we went into the end of term rate, which ultimately will destroy our credit file. Still a week later a company we were settling a debt with have still not recieved their money. Complete scam and has caused so much stress. If someone reads this from optima, I really need to speak to a manager. Complete disgrace.
