I have edited my review, stated below, given the way in which they went above and beyond to eventually resolve my issue, following my complaint below. Thank you for your kind resolution, Zima.
I purchased the Zima dental pod. As far as I can tell, this is an expensive bookend. It has stopped working just five months in. It simply doesn’t turn on (and yes, I protected the socket each time I filled it). They state, falsely, that they replace items under warantee. I proceeded to the online form for a replacement, which requires a video of the issue. Due to file size limitations, it’s impossible to upload one. I then contacted them and they suggested that I email them a video, which I did. They now refuse to cooperate as the image doesn’t show the device filled with water. Frankly, I’ve had enough. Their warantee is a false one, and they take days to respond to emails. It really is quite simple, whether filled or not, the device doesn’t turn on, so it’s hard to see what further purpose yet an additional video would provide. They are wilfully obstructing a refund.
To be honest, I’m not sure how good the device was to begin with. Even with the expensive sterilizing tablets and two cycles, the Invisalign still came out covered in saliva. The tablets also don’t’ totally dissolve and are extraordinarily expensive when compared with counterparts for dentures.
I also purchased the Zima Go which had to be returned due to a serious design flaw- a portable device for cleaning retainers cannot, itself, be cleaned.
Avoid this company at all costs. I am now exploring possibilities for breach of contract, having relied on the warrantee of replacement for defective items before making my purchase.
