New fibre

Purchase, installation and setup was easy. Slight hurdle in automatically confirming my broadband details for setting up my own router but the help team sorted it asap

Changed from a different provider due to Cost

Changed from a different provider due to cost. Didn't expect the Internet to be this slow. Tried cancelling within the two week "cooling off" period. They said it was only from the date of order, rather than date of delivery. Not happy

Zen sign on process

Daniel, took me through the process. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Despite the process not being straightforward in my case he guided me throughout without a hitch. I'm looking forward to having Zen as my ISP

The very fact that I never have to…

The very fact that I never have to think about my service or the speeds tells me I have a five star consistent connection to the internet, I have been with Zen for a good few years now and it’s always been the same, five star, excellent speeds and great pricing.

Zen internet

In the years l have been with Zen l have only had to ring them once. The signal has always been strong and reliable .The only issue l would say is l live in a large house and the wi fi signal has been an issue at times but l had the same issue with sky .Unlike sky Zens price hasn't gone up within my contract term which is much needed in this climate.

I have reason to believe my online…

I have reason to believe my online account has been hacked. I contacted Zen to explain and he wasn’t in the least interested. He told me that the only way anyone could access my services is by having my router password. I believe they do have these details. I loved Zen but in times of crisis they were no help whatsoever.

I have had yayzi and Octaplus

I have had yayzi and Octaplus - both dropped constantly. Zen hasn’t dropped once and even on the lower package than what I was on for the others - it’s faster.

Full Fibre Broadband

My switch from BT to Zen was easy with City Fibre connecting the full fibre cable very efficiently.I now have a faster connection that BT could not match at a much reduced cost. I am very pleased.

Zen - good while everything works, rubbish when it goes wrong.

I have used Zen for about 3 years with no problems apart from a very occasional brief connection dropout. A few days ago the dropouts increased in frequency, sometimes dropping out every few minutes. It continued to get worse over the next few days, and during this time I talked many times to their technical support people via live chat and email. Each time I got a different person, and each time I gave them my case number. All of these people were courteous and helpful, but all asked me to do the same thing at different times. It was obvious from the beginning from the various tests that the problem was the router. Research showed that this had a normal working life of 3-5 years. We have had ours for over 3. I suggested in each communication that they provide a replacement router to test this, and they would not answer this query. After several days I have given up, and decided to change provider. Update 11/7/25:- I provided Zen with the case information they requested in their reply. I would like to add that during the case the following technical support people contacted me; Abbas, Fozia, Charlie, Nicole, Thomas, Amrita. I have no complaint at all about any of these people, who were just doing their job. In fact, the last person to contact me (unfortunately after I had already changed provider) agreed that it could be a router problem, and wanted to send me a replacement to test. I think Zen's problem is that they need to assign each new technical issue case to a specific person.

Incredibly helpful and empathetic

The staff at Zen have been incredibly diligent, helpful and empathetic in helping to get my new internet. It took Open Reach 5 months to complete the cabling satisfactorily but during that time all contact had to be through Zen - as a customer you can't talk to Open Reach yourself. Zen were on Open Reach's 'case' constantly on my behalf without prompting. They always replied to my emails very quickly and with the level of understanding and empathy that you'd expect if it was their own personal internet connection. They really seem to have ownership of everything that is going on and I can't praise them highly enough. Many thanks to Craig, Lauren, Chris and the rest of the team for 5 star service. No wonder 'Which' like them so much.

Zen is excellent.

Have been with Zen for several years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. Excellent service and have never had any problems with Zen. Love the fact that we know exactly how much we are paying each month as fixed from the beginning of our contract.
