Disgusting compamy

How on earth can Yorkshire Water possibly believe they are a good company. 21% water leakage. Polluting our rivers with sewage. Increasing our bills by over £200.00 per year. Still paying out bonuses and dividends to shareholders at our expense. I will vote for anyone who brings water companies back under being state run. To top it all off we have a hose pipe ban, I can't wash my car but I can pay someone else to do so. I can't wash my windows but I can pay someone else to do so, whats the difference? Yorkshire Water are you going to give everyone in Yorkshire a rebate?

Absolutely atrocious company

Absolutely atrocious company How can they be allowed to waste our money like they are doing so! Trying to get through to have a meter installed no chance at all. Hours wasted waiting on hold. Something really needs doing about this company. Darren smith

I never have a problem with Yorks Water

I never have a problem with Yorks Water, their staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They speak clearly, and never have to repeat what they've said. I actually enjoy calling them, and that's not something I can say about other companies ! Enquiries always answered and sorted on same call. Well done Y W

Long Wait

My water bill has gone up from £357.03 a year to £480.99 a year which is scandalous. I tried on 2 occasions to book a water meter but every time I was put on hold for more than 40 minutes for then the call to be answered and hung up on me. They want their customers to pay more for the £40 million pounds because they owe ofwat so many fines but cant even answer a phone correctly. Maybe actually stop polluting the rivers before you pay out 371k bonus to your CEO.

Yesterday and again this morning at…

Yesterday and again this morning at 08:00, the time customer services' number is said to be active, the wait time was said to be 25 minutes. Does the board of directors think this is acceptable? My annual bill has gone up by 30%. The customer accessible website does not offer suitable alternatives for my enquiry. I shall move on to Ofwat with my complaint.

Appalling service

Trying to get to talk to someone to report a bereavement feels almost impossible. I have tried 3 times, give up each time after waiting 30 mins. Booked a call back and the phone rings once and hangs up. The waiting message states “understand it’s a difficult time” but doeesnt help make it easy.

Very long wait on two occasions but agent helpful on both occasions.

Very long waiting time listening to poor quality brass band. Once answered, agent helpful, but unable to forward my call to resolve request so now I have unscheduled callback and likelihood of repeat of long wait. -updated 27/3- apparently you are reaching out to me via Trustpilot, but you asked for customer number when soliciting feedback, so why not reach out to me directly? I will be happy to add to my review once issue is resolved. -updated 3/4/25- didn't have any direct response. Called again and waited around 30 minutes to get an answer. Agent was very polite and helpful throughout and able to conclude the appointment booking this time. Rating changed from 2 to 4 stars.
