How on earth can Yorkshire Water possibly believe they are a good company. 21% water leakage. Polluting our rivers with sewage. Increasing our bills by over £200.00 per year. Still paying out bonuses and dividends to shareholders at our expense. I will vote for anyone who brings water companies back under being state run. To top it all off we have a hose pipe ban, I can't wash my car but I can pay someone else to do so. I can't wash my windows but I can pay someone else to do so, whats the difference? Yorkshire Water are you going to give everyone in Yorkshire a rebate?

Impossible to get hold of to discuss incorrect bill
Yorkshire Water have, for the second time in two years, sent me an incredibly high bill (almost £1,000). This is despite the fact that I pay my bills monthly via direct debit, I am a single person in a small flat and I am very careful with water usage, there are no leaks in my flat, so there is absolutely no way I could have used the amount of water they are claiming.
Every time I call Yorkshire Water I end up on hold for over half an hour, then I cannot get through to a customer service representative, or the call ends abruptly once I do get through so I have to ring and wait again only for the exact same thing to happen. I do not have a problem with mobile signal in my area, so the issue lies with them. I have requested several call backs via their website which have not happened. They also do not reply to emails. It’s as if they are purposefully ignoring my contact attempts in the hope that I will give up and just pay the incorrect bill.

They answered the phone fairly quick and was friendly polite and listened to my question before answering my question the only problem the representative did not speak good English which was had to understand.
I contacted Yorkshire Water due to my sisters extremely high water bill, the gentleman I spoke with was understanding. I wasn’t on the phone long before he had looked into what needed to be done.
