Thank you to Jamie and Brandon, for doing such a good job with the garden stage of our install. They were really friendly and accomodating. You can tell they want to do the best job for the customer.

Constant problems with connectivity. Speeds inconsistent. Today 0-360mbps ( paying for 550) despite Wessex telling us to upgrade the package, no improvement. Router supplied by Wessex not working correctly. Tech support slow and ineffective. Some customer service staff are helpful, but we’ve also had some quite rude responses. I get the impression that Wessex are expanding too rapidly without adequate infrastructure. It’s difficult to know where we go to next to get issues resolved, we have already paid for independent IT advice all of which points to Wessex connection as the problem. Wessex simply deny any culpability. # I will contact customer support (again) as recommended below by Wessex BUT I have contacted them upwards of x10 in the last 3 weeks to no avail, hence the review!

I have been with Wessex internet for the last 2 years. Never had a fault until this week when unfortunately there was an issue with the router. Problem identified and resolved quickly. Great customer service! Shout out to Ben going above and beyond.

Chris (installation engineer) arrived very promptly (and called ahead) and was straight on the job on assessing best place for dish and cable runs. Job was complete within a couple of hours and I'm getting a solid 60Mbps/9Mbps connection which is brilliant; comparible to the connection I had with EE via their mobile router HOWEVER I can already see the latency is better and the stability is far superior. A big thank you to Chris and Will (in Sales, who answered all of my ridiculous questons perfectly) for a completely seamless and frictionless install! Now...just the wait for FTTH ;)

Firstly I need to say a huge thank you to Adam Suffield. It took nearly 2 years to get our project completed, but he was there at every single point. Always answered my infuriating questions, chased other departments were needed, and relayed the information back to me. The installation wasn’t completely straight forward, there were a few hick ups, but once again Adam stepped up, lined all the ducks up and it was all promptly sorted without any further issues. I also want to say a massive thank you to the wonderful Ollie who did our installation. He stayed way beyond his allocated time slot to get us up and running. I just hope this level of service continues. BT could learn an awful lot….

1. Calls to the helpline were always answered promptly without any of those infuriating recorded messages, "Your call is very important to us" (so you won't mind hanging on for another 25 minutes!). 2. We encountered a number of technical, logistical and scheduling problems along the way but they were all dealt with speedily and efficiently. 3. Internal communications and accountability within Wessex Internet is evidently very good so if queries went to the wrong department they were quickly routed to the correct department which sorted them out. 4. The Wessex Internet staff are unfailingly courteous, friendly and helpful - whether on the telephone, via email or in the field - so that even if you have a problem they make you feel they want to make everything right for you rather than that you are a nuisance.

Ryan was helping me get set up (about to have router installed) and he has been extremely helpful and friendly. It is really nice to be able to call and speak to the same person and have them actually making an effort. A huge relief after being with evil Virgin broadband!

Lower fees and great customer service. We have been using Wessex Internet in our home for a few years and are in the process of transferring our account to a new build house. Our new build has had delays and the sales and support team at Wessex Internet have been incredibly flexible and helpful throughout. Not only have they been an incredibly affordable option for us, but the human, down to earth support I have had throughout our contract has been amazing. I cannot recommend them enough and wish all the other service providers we use were as brilliant as this team!
