Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Avoid them if you want a clean car

Took my car to Waves at Tescos Dereham this morning for a wash and vacuum. When I returned to my car I found that the inside lip of my boot was still dirty. They wiped this clean, however there were watermarks EVERYWHERE and the car was not washed properly. I showed the operative the areas and proved it was dirt by scraping it with my nail. The response was I only use a sponge. He also blamed the weather for the watermarks. I did mention that these issues were never a problem at other facilities I had used in the past. I mentioned numerous times that hen I pay £22 to have my car cleaned then I expect to get it back clean. If you can't clean cars to an acceptable standard, regardless of weather then you shouldn't be cleaning cars. End of the day I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN. It only costs me £20 in both Swaffham and Watton, and I receive a showroom clean.

Waves in Tesco, Woolton, Liverpool

I visited Waves in Tesco, Woolton, Liverpool, today. I have been before and as always, the service provided is excellent. Dan, who was my main point of contact, could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He is very approachable and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this particular Waves location, just ask Dan and he will do his utmost to assist you! 11 out of 10 from a very satisfied customer!

Awful place, they break your car

Awful place, had the outside and inside cleaned, and came back to them jamming my seat forward, he tired to make an excuse saying it was already like this but was working fine before, 20 minutes into the argument he refuses to pay any sort of fee to help me fix the seat, this has happened to my friend at the same place with the same outcome, wouldn't recommend them, if you value your car dont take it to this place

I had a full monty valet on my car after being away with my dog. This cost me £57. When I collected my car there was marks on the outside which could have been buffed out with a sponge and water but we're left. The interior still had dog prints and marks on the front seat and dash board. Sand was still left in the seat belt areas. I would not be using this service or at least not paying full price for full works again.

Zero customer service

Completed online contact form to ask if my local Waves (Tesco, Whitstable) had reopened. Received an automated response saying my request would be passed to the relevant team. Two weeks later they still have not bothered to reply. Yes or No would have done. Needless to say I’ve had my car cleaned elsewhere. Rude lot.

Went to Tesco Waves today in Towcester

Went to Tesco Waves today in Towcester, they now have a silly price structure aimed at raising the prices considerably, all sorts of nonsense added now, used to be sensible, could get the car washed & hoovered for £24 approx, now if you want it hoovered it will cost £34 with loads of things you don't need like sanitizing etc, had it washed and waxed for £14 which I consider good value, would have had it hoovered for another £10, not £20 though, will do it myself, car was cleaned fine though. SIMPLIFY YOUR PRICE STRUCTURE, ITS A CAR WASH, NOTHING COMPLICATED! You would of got 5 stars otherwise!

I have had my car washed and interior…

I have had my car washed and interior cleaned at Tesco Mather Avenue (listed as Allerton Road on Google). My experience has been very good. The prices were listed on the booth outside, and one of the staff explained all of the services quickly. I was given a token for my keys, they did the job in 20 minutes whilst I watched from Costa upstairs. They cleaned a stain on the drivers seat, vacuumed the boot and carpets, and dressed the wheels. All with total courtesy. I cannot complain, and they have been at this site for years. This is an honest review, sorry for the customers who have had a poor experience

Unfortunately there is no help for…

Unfortunately there is no help for people who have had bad experiences with Waves and Tesco. I took my car in to get a clean at the Waves in Amesbury. To start with, I recurved a quote of £28 which I paid, only to learn online that the Large / Luxury / 4X4 Gold service are £23. All I asked for was a clean inside and out. While cleaning inside one of the staff leant on the 4 wheel drive low switch and broke it off. Everyone makes mistakes I know but have the honesty and decency to own up and the professionalism to support the customer. The franchise owner arrived in his white Mercedes and started argue aggressively that it would be impossible for his staff to break the switch. We watched the CCTV footage to see one of the staff clearly leaning in the area in which the switch is located. It was at this point where the situation started to feel a little bit like a Jerry Springer episode. He offered me £50. I explained that the part alone costs £104.50 before labour. He argued like a little school child, a school child defending a handball decision at an under 8’s football match, he said he doesn’t understand the switch and his staff don’t touch things they don’t understand. I told him to keep his £50 and that I’d be contacting Tesco and Waves to get the situation sorted out professionally. In hind sight I should have leant on the wing mirror of his Mercedes and snapped it off, then I should have explained to him that I do not fully understand wing mirrors and it would be impossible for me to break it off. I would not recommend supporting waves in Amesbury. Theft, lying and damage seem to be the same lyric rolling over and over at this establishment. 1/5 starts for me. Tesco really need to reconsider who they allow to own the franchises in their parking facilities. The reviews below are shocking. Writing this review if nothing helps me to vent my anger at that stupid Pr!ck.

Cut corners. Not good value.

Not sure that they did what they promiced. Took an already cleaned car in (had just bought) and paid for the 'full monty' service. I'm afraid though that although the upholstery looked clean I'm sure parts of the service were missed. The boot looked as if it had not been looked at and the areas between the seats looked like they had not been done. I felt short changed and I probably won't be going back as I felt bits were not done that they said they would do. Location Tesco Tenterden
