Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Paid £36 in Moreton-in-Marsh which…

Paid £36 in Moreton-in-Marsh which costs more than what I pay in London But the result was appalling They basically just washed the outside and did a basic internal hoover A quick look inside was evident they had just polished the dashboard but nothing in the back I will be avoiding and suggest you all do the same

New Milton RIP OFF

New Milton RIP OFF. Beware of inflated prices where they say a price then say they will do it for less but this is still more than you should be paying anyway! Then the card machine is “”not working” meaning they get cash and can skim off the extra they have fleeced you for. This happened to me last time and when I went today it was the same story so I walked away. Tried to lodge a complaint with Waves HQ but their site tells one to contact the individual unit, like that is going to work- not! They do however have an email facility if you want to leave a compliment. Fraudulent con merchants - BEWARE!!!

Exeter waves car clean Very poor service just had inside and outside cleaned £25. Got all the way home to find the Windows still dirty, marks on door frames. Mud inside, drove back and the guy was so rude asking for proof of my NHS card and address! Very poor service won’t be using again!

DO NOT USE carwash at Asda Bromborough

Used carwash at Asda Bromborough. Car got washed, paid my money and left. When I got home I noticed at the front of my BMW, the tow point cover was missing and one of the headlight washer covers was broken! This was a result of the guy using his jet washer too close to the car body. He obviously knew he had caused damage but never said a word!!! This is going to cost me a lot of money to repair. Avoid these people like the plague!!! So so Angry...

Waves hand car wash Burnley Tesco

As I’m going on holiday I wanted my car to be nice and clean to travel in. I went for the £25 ‘gold’ wash. First impressions were good, I had to ask for a rag as there was still dirt around the door shuts, and also a build up of dirt around the boot shut. The guy wiped it for me without a problem. Still dirt, crumbs and bits still around the door rubbers. Still dust around the cigarette lighter and in drinks holders. The products used inside the car have left it greasy. There is lint off the rags used on the dash and door cards. Still bits on carpet in rear of car. I’ve got pictures of all this if the company want to see them. I know £25 isn’t going to get you the best valet in the world but an air freshener wouldn’t go a miss! Having said this the outside of the car was done well. Changed my review to 3 stars instead of 1 as it was a good job outside just don’t believe it’s worth £25

RIP OFF

RIP OFF! I used Waves in the past and they did a good job. This time I went back and I couldn't download the app which you needed to to to get a discount, but the sign advertising the discount was old so I couldn't get it anyway. Then I asked how much inside and out? £25! Last time it was under £20. They tried to make out my car was large when I drive a medium Hyundai iX20. Otherwise it would be £20. I won't ever use Waves again. It seems after Covid everyone is out to make a killing.

Waves Car Wash Buckingham

Had to give 1 star unfortunately After items which were in door pockets that was clearly not rubbish and I had also asked for the door pockets to be left, were removed from my car and put in a bin and then very confrontational staff when I asked why this had been done. I tried to make a complaint and acces CCTV. No contact from franchise owner apart from on the first day, despite my repeated attempts, standard reply from Waves head office and delays in answering emails and requests for access to CCTV until it was conveniently for Waves to late to access it! I have used this car wash many times before but never again. The car was not washed very well either and I had also asked for a leather treatment which wasn't done. They also wanted cash in hand and not to be paid by card.

Had my car washed at Tesco Borehamwood…

Had my car washed at Tesco Borehamwood while I am always satified with the result the interior is always left very greasy including the seats which as a driver I find very dangerous as I find myself sliding around even the dash is greasy let alone that it goes all over customers clothing Please don't grease the interiors of cars !

Not correct pricing (unlawful) Cash in hand (unlawful)

This is the first time and when I got there the cheapest for a small car was £8, this was advertised on a board. (I've just checked their website and it is £8 not £10) When I asked for the bronze at £8 I was told that is only for smart cars. You can't get much smaller than a Suzuki Splash and I said it doesn't say only for Smart cars. I was told that £8 was last years prices. I said it is illegal to advertise a price and then charge something different. The chap said he'd do it for £8 if I paid cash. You may clean cars well but you can't operate outside of the law. Not correct pricing & cash in hand? Regards, Mr Plews

Used to be good

Used to be good, but for whatever reason they are now offer an overpriced and utterly useless service. If you dare to ask whether on a £45 valet service why the alloy wheels are filthy or why they have polished in bird dropping residue, you are treated to a tirade of abuse in the middle of Tesco’s car park, which include being told that you are a ‘S**t customer!’ and to ‘get the f&*k off their property!’ Otherwise I’ll regret it?? Utterly disgusting, and as previously mentioned, Tesco’s aren’t interested and the Waves franchise issuer could care less! Avoid at all cost unless you like being verbally abused in a car park!!
