Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Damaged my car and showed me a sign which said they are not responsible for tha damage! Franchisee was aggressive, sprayed water on a another car after getting into an argument with him and picked an argument with another one. Avoid if you can.

Awful

Awful. I went to the Taunton, Somerset one. I wanted a Gold wash. I was told it would be £25. I enquired as to the Blue Light Discount, which was 20% off. Taking £5 off the total price. Initially the guy said he didn't know about the BLC Discount. I showed it on the app. He then said he could do it for £22. Which isn't £5 off. He then said it would cost more as my car is white, and is dirty. 😂. Never heard that explanation before! Would definitely not recommend!

They washed my car

I'm a bit lazy with writing positive reviews, but seeing so many negative ones I decided to write one. I have had my car washed numerous times at Royston and Baldock over the years. I went last week to Baldock and my car was washed satisfactorily for a fair price.

Not recommended

Arrived at Widnes waves for my 8.30 car wash. They were not open so were late. Returned post wash and was told they could not apply the blue light discount. That was a matter for head office. Head office say this is a franchise and nothing to do with them. They are going to speak to them but no promise of a resolution. So as a customer you are caught between the two. Just went to the boot of my car and the shelf was not removed so the boot itself is still dirty and hasnt been hoovered. In fairness the rest of the car is pretty clean but given poor customer service I wont use this company again!

Waste of time absolutely shocking

Waste of time absolutely shocking, I called and was told to just come down which I did and then the cheeky gits tried to charge me £120 for the platinum wash when all the signs and website said this was £60 for my car, car wasn't even that dirty I was just being lazy but the staff are trying to Rob people blind and didn't even seem that interested In the job and told me to go elsewhere. Took his advice and did the job myself sure I got better results and saved a fortune. Avoid this place , for reference this occurred at Tesco in Haslingden.

Not great, poor quality clean

Just picked up car from a bronze+ service. Initially was told car would be ready in 1hr 15min, but received a notification it was ready after 30 mins. Have just inspected the car, I’d I rate the clean as less effective than a standard mechanical car wash. Parts of the car, wing mirror, grill, boot look like they’ve been missed, still dirty and will need additional cleaning and there are patches of dirt on most panels. Was ready to book our second car in, but won’t bother now. At £25 a pop, compared to £10 at the next closest hand wash, it’s just not worth it for the poor quality of the clean. Hugely disappointing.

I was doing a bit of shopping at…

I was doing a bit of shopping at Tesco’s and thought I’d get the car washed while I was shopping. £35 to clean a small car inside and out?! It’s absolutely ludicrous. Rather take my money elsewhere to very hard working popular car washes at half the price!!

Left my car with Waves car wash in…

Left my car with Waves car wash in Tesco Haslingden, and was back within 10 minutes. I got in the car as it was cold that day, so didn't take any notice of what has been done. Within 2 minutes, i was asked for the £10 for cleaning the car. I drove off, and pulled up in the street a few hundred yards away, to see how good a job they'd done. It was clear the alloy wheels hadn't even seen water, and i have my doubts whether the rest of the car did either. The wheels were as dirty as when i left it with them, and the front and back of the car still had ingrained dirt everywhere. Absolutely disgraceful. This is the first and last time, i will ever use Waves car washes anywhere.
